The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Plus incredibly retarded. Cutting somebody's brain out and huffing it won't heal people magically. And that breeding is never ever even considered for a fucking second is nuts to me. I don't know, maybe freezer her eggs before nuking her brain, hell, is it even something genetic she can even transfer? How are they so sure without even having looked at her proper it's anything they can even create antibodies from and not a freak combination of coincidences in her system? And leaving that aside, how the fuck do they distribute, it? How the fuck do they synthesize it? What will be their criteria for who they give it to or not? What makes the viewer think they won't weaponize the fuck out of it?
Wasn't there a note or something that basically described her antibodies keeping the fungus cells in check?

Wouldn't it make sense to test her blood first by adding in other infected cells to see what happens?

Since Kneel has turned his "game" into a show how high are the chances a legitimate doctor sees the "unga bunga smash open her brain" scene?

Don't remember the details, but playing the game I always had the impression the Fireflies were inept and had no fucking idea what they were doing for the most part. So them going "unga eat brains" didn't surprise me much. That I didn't trust them to not be fucking monsters even if their shaman rituals actually generated a cure left me with zero qualms about Joel's decisions and actions. Since the show wants to set things up for the retarded sequel, I don't know how well they managed to make the fireflies seem competent, but a lot of the ending interpretation hinges on if you see them as competent/trustworthy or a bunch of fucking clowns.

Wait Cuckmann said that the surgery was a guaranteed success? WHAT THE FUCK? WHERE CAN I FIND THAT SHIT?

Goddammit what an idiot if true. How can he not understand the story he himself wrote? (allegedly). Although to be fair it makes sense that Neil is retconning everything to justify Joel In One next season and he is also the person that said that that TLOU was ALWAYS the story of Ellie, when it is the story of Joel and Ellie, at least when it was good.

Cause white hispanic man bad and my god he will crash him with no survivors to enhance glorious "no, that is not my fetish chud!" Abbey!

Druckmann says that they wouldn't and it will work and by God you will believe him you fucking GOY! JOEL IS BAD! HE IS A WHITE MALE! You will like Abby and Lev more as his replacements GOD DAMMIT!

Bravo Cuckmann what a real human bean.

Seriously, give me a fucking break.

>Critical parts of the original plot hinge over the fact that Fireflies gamble against all odds trying to extract cures out of people
>This very crucial element gets retconned into a near-guaranteed chance of extracting a cure

So, uh... The plot doesn't make any fucking sense at all now, since the cure could just have been found earlier in the diegesis, and all characters have been thoroughly flushed of any likability and intelligence. This franchise gets my seal of approval; Druckman truly is an Alpha hack inspiration for all aspiring writers.

EDIT: There's never a bad moment to post this:

Oh that's simple the answer is

They all but outright say it in the "Inside the Episode" video when it gets to the hospital segment:

Druckmann: "We've seen Joel kill. We've seen him lose loved ones. So, how do you take that any further? What if it's between saving all of humanity or this one girl? It's the easiest choice he's ever made in his life."

Pascal: "What would make one choose one thing over the survival of humanity, essentially. Which is something that he does, because he finds himself incapable of losing again."

Dandridge: "The parking garage is the last shot. It's the last opportunity to save what Ellie can gift the world. Joel, he is wrestling with his grief, and he can't see past it."

Ramsey: "She knows deep down that he's not telling the truth, but she can't let herself believe it because it's too painful and it's too scary, the idea that her only purpose in life hasn't been fulfilled. That that had been taken away from her by the person she loves and trusts the most is too overwhelming. So she forces herself to believe Joel."

He also claimed that he doesn't care about the criticisms to TLOU 2, so who knows how season 2 is going to go

After watching every episode i can easily say the only reason i can reccomed the TV series is to see how much Cuckman must have hated the original game, all the changes made in the TV series are more in line with how TLoU part 2 was (poorly) written: Joel is far weaker both mentally and phisically, bigger emphasis on gay characters, exploration on how bad and pointless violence is and """strong""" female characters.
Despite being a story with zombies in it they hardly appear at all, and the more the show moves foward the less you get to see them.
I don't consider the 2013 game an achievement in any way but it was ok for what it was, but compared to the TV series the game is far superior.
It's almost a "so bad it's good" for me, but watching just how much Cuckman makes himself to be some kind of genius never ceases to fascinate me.

And on the subject of the cure, what's the point of that if the zombies are going to eat you alive anyway?
In the second episode Tess says to Ellie something along the lines of "you might be immune to bites, but if a horde catches you they are going to tear you apart".
So i realy don't get this "Joel forsake humanity by saving Ellie", even when the original game came out.

I'll bet you can see Neil Druckman's erection from space right now.

It's very clear the man absolutely fucking despises games as a medium and gamers and his lifelong ambition was to be a stereotypical abusive Hollywood creep.

He must be over the moon.
And he strangely isn't cancelled... yet. He will sooner or later and all the loser manchild normies will finally end up becoming sigma chads.

Given the man bun and borderline ryona/guro porn prominently featured in all of his games there's no way this guy doesn't have figurative and maybe even literal skeletons in his closet.

If I gave one of those AI art generator things a prompt for misogynist it would spit out Neil Druckman.

He'll probably have some skeletons in the closet eventually. If only you knew how bad things really are

He has little hat tribe privilege. So he has to do something VERY bad and VERY publicly to even get a whiff of cancelation.
Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up having skeletons in the closet
