What's this? A male feminist treating a woman like shit. Who would've saw that coming

You know what the funniest thing about this is? The Uncharted series is pure summer blockbuster action. The games were all about high-octane action and setpieces. Then Uncharted 4 comes out without Hennig's involvment and is entirely penned by Druckmann. And it's boring. Ungodly boring. The game is afraid of going balls-to-the-wall like 2 or 3 and instead shoves boring story down your throat. What's this? A male feminist treating a woman like shit. Who would've saw that coming

Hennig made a trilogy of games that were fueled by pure testosterone because she understands what makes action games thrilling while Druckmann's abomination is one of the most horrendously dull games I have ever played, which is pure irony. For all of Druckmann's wokeness, he fails to understand what makes an action game exciting. And that to me is the funniest part. For all his clout, Druckmann is immensely less talented than Hennig at crafting a summer blockbuster experience.
You know what, more power to you. There are things Uncharted 4 does right; I liked the driving sequence where the game almost goes open world for an hour. I liked all the callbacks to previous games (the sequence in the Panamanian jail is such a subtle reference to a throwaway line in the first game it's beautiful), and the gunplay can be fun during the moments when the game lets loose for a while...............But I loved 4![]()
I still think 4 is great, well written, and I am very satisfied with the ending. Just because TLoU 2 is bad doesn’t mean all of Drukmann’s work is bad. Keep in mind he still had Amy’s characters, tone, and writing to work off of. And honestly I don’t think he’s a bad writer at all, just drank way too much koolaid and is now going down the gutter with unrestrained story decisions...............But I loved 4![]()
It's obvious Cuckmann didn't develop it as it still plays well, but there are glaring issues with it...............But I loved 4![]()
But the only way you’re able to defeat the warlord is by using explosive tree sap. In Nadine‘s case you’re an unarmed untrained prison yard fighter going against a highly trained military leader with wealths of material arts knowledge. I think it’s not too far fetched that she could wipe the floor with Nate, she doesn’t fight using brute force alone. Any jujutsu self defense class goes over teaching even women how to use strategy to go against stronger fighters. I agree she felt forced but I don’t think she was that bad. It's obvious Cuckmann didn't develop it as it still plays well, but there are glaring issues with it.
Like the fact Drake can fight entire mercenary armies (yes, plural, including the one in Thief's End) but somehow Nadine and only Nadine is 100% untouchable, even two on one.
And this is after fighting a war criminal that is already at least 80lbs of muscle above him and 'roided to fuck on the sap of a Babylonian magical tree in Among Thieves.
You could make the case he "doesn't hit girls" but the fact that he's apparently trying to hit her and it's just the Universe deciding your "white male ass"™ loses to "Stronk Black Wahmen"™ in the Weapon Triangle.
Hey Laura Bailey is quite proud of her skill voicing negresses. So she's basically white Nadine?
Someone photoshop gay porn plz.I feel like this is exploitable. Have at it.
You mean the one that confirmed Ellie was a lesbian? Also what happens to the girl she was with in the first dlc
You mean the one that confirmed Ellie was a lesbian?
It's the same girl she talks about in the ending of the first game. Basically they both get bitten and they decide that they'd both "lose their minds" together. So short answer was she was basically infected.
Alright, maybe the final boss of 2 isn't the best example, but Nate isn't exactly untrained, and if he is, you're saying she's more trained than every single one of her private military company, a secret society of killers (U3 antagonists), and the previously mentioned war criminal's actual army? But the only way you’re able to defeat the warlord is by using explosive tree sap. Good point, though I’d argue that the fact that Nate was armed for most of those encounters levels the playing field quite a bit. (And Nadine is specifically good at unarmed combat. Who knows if her soldiers are.) Again, it’s still kinda forced, but I don’t think it’s entirely out of possibility. It’s based on blockbusters, perfect male vs female fight logic isn’t always applicable.Alright, maybe the final boss of 2 isn't the best example, but Nate isn't exactly untrained, and if he is, you're saying she's more trained than every single one of her private military company, a secret society of killers (U3 antagonists), and the previously mentioned war criminal's actual army?
... a'ight.![]()
Speaking as someone who never played any uncharted games and only watch a let’s play of 4, I did find it odd that said girl not only routinely kicked his ass and made a constant fool of him, but also never really got a comeuppance or was punished despite being the secondary antagonist. But the only way you’re able to defeat the warlord is by using explosive tree sap. There are only two great zombie films and they were both made by George A Romero.
(Probably best to ignore Day of the Dead and everything after it.)
Yup I can agree with that. Felt weird that she was left off the hook so easily, but then again she was shown being increasingly unsure about how far Rafe was going. I’m iffy on her character.Speaking as someone who never played any uncharted games and only watch a let’s play of 4, I did find it odd that said girl not only routinely kicked his ass and made a constant fool of him, but also never really got a comeuppance or was punished despite being the secondary antagonist.
Because homophobic Muslims aren't woke.So far, the answer is: nothing. All info on the plot thus far indicates that homophobic Christians are the main antagonist force.
So a stereotype that was dated a decade ago, and which was in no less than six titles in the last five years, and which remains obnoxious unless it's part of a period piece and used sparingly.
Why the fuck is this always the case? Why is it always the most zero-effort thing imaginable with these assclowns?

Wonder how 2020 Jason would have reacted to Thrill Kill getting leaked after EA pussied out. He'd probably be celebrating the game's cancellation because it had too much boobage.View attachment 1258293
This is pretty rich coming from a guy whose career is people coming to him bitching about working conditions and drama. I guess he'd rather be controlled opposition instead of create real change.
When you stand for the working man by making him remain a cog in the corporate machine.![]()
