I've never seen something this big so long before a major launch leak, ever. First of all, if the motive isn't financial, its ideological, plenty of other wokeshit games from major companies have been released without a hitch. Its a job. You get paid, do the work and go home. Plenty of conservative Christians or conservatives work on these games. They don't talk about politics at work obviously, but they've never leaked them. So you're telling me, over an hour of various stuff got leaked, including the source code, over a single troll? If that's the case, Sony should sue Naughty Dog for neglect, because that's some god-tier level incompetence. I don't hear any mention of them getting hacked. So, how can it be someone NOT associated with the company? How do you get your hands on source code if you're a motion capture contractor? And releasing for ideological reasons means you're more than likely alone, because most people wouldn't do this and risk their careers to expose one woke game.
It is utterly implausible that this individual didn't work for the studio. Him working alone to gather various different parts means the studio is utterly incompetent. Even for Naughty Dog, that's a huge stretch. If it was for ideology and NOBODY notices him doing it, what do you really think that means? There's problems within the studio. If it was a single individual acting on ideology, it'd be obvious. So people would have to simply turn their eyes away from him doing it or ignore it. Which means...the studio is mistreating its employees.
The motive is financial. It is to simply ruin the games success and likely carried out by multiple parties. Which they would never admit, because that would admit the problems within the studio itself. What the reason is for that motivation is, it could be anything. Disgruntled employees being fired. Spitefulness. Low morale. It is to hurt them financially. Its plainly simple. Its revenge for being mistreated or underpaid or both. It isn't a troll, it isn't about wokeness, and an outsider couldn't have done this.

lol you're completely ignorant. Have you ever heard of the 'Dead Peasant Policy'? Corporations will take out life insurance on their own employees, and then when they die, they pay themselves. Not the employees family. Its called the dead peasant policy because they do it on mostly low paid workers. Its supposed to only be used on people who are invaluable to the company, but in reality its just a way to get a ton of money from some low wager. It isn't illegal and poor families struggle while the corporation makes out like a bandit on the dead employee's policy.
Same as with work visas. Companies will fire all high paid employees and bring in low wage foreigners. The visa is ONLY supposed to be used for labor that cannot be found in the United States, but that is never the case. It is almost always used to cut down on labor costs. And nobody ever gets punished for it. It is exceptionally rare that they do.
You have no clue what corporations will stoop to and do against their employees. Even if it is in the grey area. Especially in the gaming industry, which is notorious for treating its workers like trash.
Companies even NOW aren't paying back their furloughed workers.
