They'll put out DLC for the mutiplayer mode once it releases no doubt. Don't be surprised if you get character skins of personalities that just so happen to have reviewed their games positively before since they've done that before, and there's nothing shady about that at all...

If they're smart (they're not), they'll put out multiplayer DLC. The multiplayer DLC for Mass Effect 3 made fucking BANK. It was actually more profitable than the game itself. It helped that it was actually more interesting and fun than the base game. So if Sony wants to re-coup their losses, they need to include a multiplayer mode.

Unfortunately, Naughty Dog is against 'fun' so I assume it will be fucking horrible, where if you play as a dog handler and your dog dies, you're forced into a 15 second animation of crying while other players just kill you.

Though it'd be hilarious if it were just an asymmetrical mode where you have to avoid the serial killer Abby whose all hulked out and you're all 15 year old girls. If she catches you, she beats you to death with a golf-club and uses the environment to kill you in gruesome ways like a snuff video. That would get Druckman so erect he couldn't control himself.

it's probably fanboys. if you preorder a ps4 game you can rate it before it comes out. I would assume anyone who is still willing to preorder this would never give it anything lower than a 5 star rating. anyone else wouldn't preorder the game to begin with.

that said I'm absolutely certain they'll still massage the numbers once the game is out. metacritic in particular is going to be riddled with duplicate user reviews from accounts with only the one rating, and a large chunk of negative reviews will be removed to keep the rating at 8 or higher. they've done it before. and of course critic reviews will be either be paid for, or they'll rate it 10/10 to make sure sony doesn't cut them off from prerelease review copies. gotta have those day one review clicks. and then there'll be the few who legitimately like the game or rate it highly to spite the "toxic gamers" or whatever.

You are also forgetting the Ironic 5 star reviews where they talk shit, or make a stupid joke, and rate it 5 because LUL IRONIC RATEING.

I think part of why it lands a lot better than Drukmann’s lesbian torture porn is because the GoW guys were ultimately writing something they knew. Cory Balrog, the lead on the new one, has spoken in the past about not having a bad relationship with his father and having figure out shit for dealing with his son as he went along. Death Stranding too to a lesser extent with the stuff about isolation. Kojima was a latchkey kid.

Off topic (sorry guys), but I gave up on that show after episode 1 of season 3. The first season was fantastic. Second season was alright. You could immediately see all the plot threads they were setting up in that first episode of season 3 coming a mile away and it was just so scatterbrained I knew the season was going to be an endless rehash of the same "omahgerd robbits in the real world plus generic espionage and mysterious big red AI ball is mysterious" garbage throughout.

Such a waste of an interesting premise.

I'm no expert on voice acting, but judging by the Kick Vic lolsuit, voice acting a small pool of regulars who get hired by the same studios over and over.

They could, but I doubt that would save it. People are sick of reboots, and unless the creative team completely changes it's going to be the same woke shit that sank this game.
