Since reviewers couldn't talk about the last half of the game I find such reviews to be useless. There was a lot of restrictions Sony gave to people in order to get a review out.

Because the goal isn't to see the character being fixed, it's a descent down to the Cold uncaring abyss of hell like Kane and Lynch and Spec Ops was. Both made by European devs, so Druckmann felt compelled to make his own anti game.

The perfect game to serve as a contrast to the portrayal of violence in TLOU2. Kane & Lynch is a shit game, but it handles violence in a much more mature way in my opinion. Both main characters are absolute shitbags and detestable, but the game never even seems to want you to sympathize with them really. They're unhinged psychos and there aren't really any big excuses made for their actions. In TLOU2 it seems like they wanted to have those kinds of horribly violent characters but make excuses for each and every action. Which from the negative reviews to me just sounds like every excuse is "you killed my friend/family member, now I'm gonna kill you!" it's lazy as shit.

I can't wait for Druckmann to lose his shit over this with all the scathing reviews coming out about it. I do have to say the commercial I saw yesterday is fucking amazingly well done graphics for what looks to be cutscenes. Really makes you wish he didn't go full Woke cause it looks good but fuck the story.

I am however open to changing my mind if, and only if, the story turns out to be much better written and handled than what we saw with the meak
