The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

No, but what you might get is a return to more normal understanding of the difference of the sexes in which women will be kept back for their ability to make more people, and will generally be kept away from increasingly dangerous jobs or would be put to tasks in which finer motor skills are a requirement.

Things like seam-stressing, sewing, weaving, pottery making and other jobs which are vital to the wider community... and can be done practically anywhere.

Meaning as their jobs could be done, say, at home, they can double duty cooking meals for the wider family (or even families) and keeping an eye on the children.

The men meanwhile, needing higher calories will also be more active and be able to use their superior strength for construction, woodwork, stonemasonry, construction of defences, food growing etc etc.

Only problem is, you can hear the screeching of the anarchies as I've just described TRADITIONAL GENDER ROLES AND FAMILY REEEEE.

Even though there's a fucking reason the majority of human history has been built like this.

Yeah and the gays can't reproduce with each other so they can't make more people. They should be declared sinners and face some kind of punishment...perhaps with stones?

If you don't like this you are probably a reeeeing anarchist.

Hurr durr human history!

No, him getting mad that people thought comparing it to Schindler's List was stupid was the peak pretentiousness.

“How dare you not compare my edgy zombie revenge game to one of the greatest films in history!”

People weren't mad at him because of the difference in quality. If he chose almost any other movie of that tier Schrier and the rest would have been tripping over themselves to agree. Just look at the critic's scores.

The sin that guy committed was very specifically comparing it to Schindler's List, which is to Jews what Most Recent Marvel Film to consoomers, times ten.

Deadly Premonition was the first game that made me invested in the story. Yes, the graphics & gameplay is awful but the story is so weird & unusual that I couldn't help but get emotionally attached to it and the characters.

People should play Deadly Premonition instead of TLOU2.
and it's also getting a sequel that will be 100% more of a subversion most likely while expanding on the first game's events, the first game is like watching a tv show but on a massive acid trip

Never played it myself but I saw lots of people comparing it to Twin Peaks and comfy vidya. And comfy Twin Peaks vidya sounds right up my alley.

Oh he's doing a Razorfist.
He was PISSED when Deus Ex Mankind Divided (which took advantage of Black Lives Matter in the plot and tried to paint a world in which Augmented Humans are discriminated against) under performed, and went around blaming those that didn't buy it/didn't like it. He still does it to this day.

That game was also shitty but less so than Last of Us Part 2.

Its almost like taking a risk... is risky. Like it can backfire or somehow go terrible wrong.

Do these idiots think risk taking itself is a virtue?

it's the same people that think "hard work" should be rewarded no matter the outcome.

Hurr durr human history!

what the fuck has your preference in genitals to suck to do with physical ability and utility to the community? do you think there are breeding schedules? hint: no one cares since not every male will reproduce anyway.

stop being a tard confusing religion with history.

Speaking of. How old is Ellie in Last of Us 2? 18 or something? because.. in first game when she was a girl, she was a nice person. Unless you are born with a ugly personality, the way it is in Last of Us 2 wouldnt even make realistically sense, even if you are 23 or 24 years old in that world you still act caring if you have that personality. Why? Because you have no job, education to focus on. Its just survival, and you act like a group

The only case it makes sense is in the real world, with jobs, education. Its a reason why hipster assholes devoloped in 2010. People without jobs, no future, they may turn this "takes one to know" but, the whole arrogant character makes zero sense in this game. Interms of real life, you are a good person for most of your upbringing if that is your personality. You only legit turn shitty if your dreams are crushed, traumas or something, which i think is mostly common during young adult lives. Like lets say.. 22 - 30 years of age. Not saying you cant get out of it.

But just out of realism, it makes no sense why she became this much of a jerk in second game at all

The Last Of Us Part 2 Writers Have Discussed The Scenes And Ideas They Cut (SPOILERS)

"There was a whole side story where Ellie went to the Seraphite island, and we had so much more to say about the Seraphites and Ellie’s journey there and she’s going through like the different layers of Hell and she still keeps going forward," Druckmann says.

Joel's death scene was originally different, too--the original plan was for him to cry out for Sarah, his long-since-deceased daughter, but actor Troy Baker suggested that it would be a more effective scene if he did not say anything.

Gross adds that at one point Joel was going to have a girlfriend, and a different ending, although she does not elaborate. Druckmann also says that they built a playable section where Ellie hunts down the boar you encounter in the museum, but it slowed down the game's pacing too much.

Sounds like they cut stuff that would have made it less tone deaf.
