If I remember right the reason is that alot of deaf people can't read since teaching someone to read partially relies on them knowing how letters form certain sounds. No fucking clue if that's true though.

I think its safe to bet Metroid Dread be GOTY, but the awards should have waited till the end of December so that the batch of games of 2021 actually shows.

Then again, the autistic niggers in these awards never really do play games do they to consider all the choices.

I wish the Game Awards wouldn't nominate a game more than once in a category. I know the whole thing is a joke and it's made by the gamejournos but you shouldn't have 2 people representing the same game in the best performance.
The "best score" category is laughable, 2 games on the list are using songs instead of actual score. I'm a McCreary fanboy and while I have not played CoD Vanguard, I've listened to his score and it's pretty good for a CoD.

Knowing the Game Awards, I won’t be holding my breath if they don’t give Game of The Year to Metroid: Dread. In fact, I highly doubt that they will even recognize SMT 4 as an RPG, since they’ll probably confuse it with Persona.

I'm a little shocked by Deathloop having the most nominations, mostly because I didn't realize it had even been released. Is it really that good? I know it got delayed a few times and after Cyberpunk that makes me a little cautious.

I don't think the VA for Dimitrescu was particularly good enough to warrant a Best Performance nom, I'm guessing the big titty vampire mommy meme influenced things. Although maybe I'm a little salty that Cherami Leigh as Fem V got snubbed.

It's OK, nothing on Dishonoured or even Prey. but it has two Black leads so it's a masterpiece according to all the right people.

I remember watching an IGN review of SMTV as a joke and I facetiously assumed at the start that the reviewer would get it confused with Persona.

I actually would not mind It Takes Two because it scratches the itch for coop, despite some story issues. Maybe if it wins, it can make way for the revival of coop splitscreen. Of course I am too optimistic for this one.

I wonder if game developers forgot people have siblings. I used to spend hours trying to find a spilt screen game for me and my brother to play and we always ended up playing Left 4 Dead or one of the Resident Evils.
