The Last of Us Tv Show - Anyone saw this?

And even that's based on an existing IP. Sure, there is Crash, which is also adapted from the 2005 movie, but literally nobody remembers said movie nor show.
Honestly beside Ash vs the Evil Dead. I have never heard of any other Starz tv shows not even Crash that you mentioned. Is that saying something about their shows?

Without going onto IMDb, Wikipedia or even Starz's official website or its social media places, there isn't a single show worth talking about. The closest I can say is the Spartacus show from the early-10s, but even then it's not as well known as something like Sopranos, Stargate SG-1, Deadwood, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Better Call Saul, etc.

I forgot that show was even on Starz for some reason I thought it was on HBO (maybe I got confused with Rome). Crazy to think that one of their only successful shows I thought belong to a completely different channel.

Even by 2016 onward, Starz changed their corporate logo to show its audiences about their most blandness, neandering program lineup. It's like they're not afraid to admit that they're boring.

Latest episode has barely anything happen. We get three different scenes just of them going to bed. Felt like a filler episode.

I've been telling people this show has dogshit pacing and everyone looks at me like I'm crazy.
It's like with the shitty 2018 Tomb Raider movie where the pacing is absolute dogshit, has very cliche'd writing and acting, and is a full blown SonAmy fanfic. Yet whenever I made my peace about it, fans and defenders of said movie will pissed at me.

Consoomers will defend a product they'll like and not bother to point out the flaws. It's their motive.

I've been watching this.. Glad I don't pay for it. First 2 eps were fairly tight and well done. I saw how 3 was going and gave up halfway. Did the same on 4. Blah. It also really strains the suspension of disbelief. I don't like the characters much either. And I know it's just the genre, but I'm tired of gasoline and batteries working for 10+ years of sitting around.

I never played the game but this show had a good hook for the first 2 eps, but I really doubt I'll continue. Gave me the same vibes as Andor, watched a few and started falling asleep.

In a blink and you miss it scene at Bill's you'll notice he actually had taken the battery apart and had crystals of acid. Admittedly I don't think that actually works for Sulfuric Acid, but they did actually try and show he was smart enough that a wet battery wouldn't work if you left it wet.

Then they get in the car and the gasoline is fine. Oh well.

I was more thinking of the flashlight batteries than the cars, but that's at least something.

Latest ep starts with Ellie complaining about having to stop and siphon every hour and Joel explains why the fuel is shit, so I guess Bill had some solution to that as well to get em out the gate. Not that he was going anywhere.

Edit: now that I think about it yeah he was also running generators 24/7 so he must have been brewing biojenkem on his invisible farm or something

I'm disappointed that Jose didn't teach Ellie the siphoning trick to get the most juice out of the car.

It would help her later on getting it on with Dinah, if Cuckmann didn't burn the bridge off with Dinah's actress.

If he's running a 30KW diesel generator at even half load it's around 2gallons an hour. Full load might even be five gallons of fuel every single hour. Even if you run it half of the time and skip a few days a week if you are not in need of power. You are needing 6,000 gallons of diesel every year. And 120,000 gallons of pure diesel for 20 years of power. And that is a conservative estimate. But the show has him with power 24/7 and doing stupid stuff like broadcasting 70s music on the radio and powering multiple buildings.

It's more than that. How are the tires staying inflated? How are the roads not completely impassable and destroyed? Where are they getting engine oil and transmission fluid from? The world they live in makes no sense. It's like any device that they need to use just magically survived for 20 years on its own. But the other parts of society just completely collapsed.

It would have been better if FEDRA had fully restored the oil industry just in a smaller capacity. So there are things like working cars and oil refineries. And society is back to normal but a civil war between FEDRA and the Fireflies breaks out or something.

youre still talking about the gas thing but you keep forgetting apocalypse logic: basically gas works forever as the plot demands

As if the writers and even big name corporations care so much about the environment.

They don't.

In the game it is explained that FEDRA is still producing car batteries and, presumably, fresh vehicles so we'd have to assume they're still making stuff here and there. But in the show it is completely retarded that Bill has this beautiful little powered city all to himself for gay buttsex. In the game he lives in a basement.
The thing that stands out to me is if they are really making this stuff, why are the people in the QZ doing busy work. You'd conscript all the able bodied people to be doing actual work in the factories, refineries, oil fields, farms etc. Not having them doing random crap, especially after 20 years.

The most obvious retardation is them showing not only the powering of building lights, but fridges, multiple CRT screens set in an entire underground monitoring bay which also means powering the entire external CCTV system. For 20 fucking years.
