The Left tried to use last summer’s momentum from the Black Lives Matter movement to push its destructive ideas of so-called “anti-racism” and critical race theory. Now, they’re frantically trying to redefine the terms of the debate, as the momentum has built up against them instead.

Liberals are now asking that you pay no attention to the curriculum behind the curtain. They have taken to insisting that critical race theory isn’t actually being taught in K-12 schools, even though there are clear examples that show that it is. The New York Times even wrote in July 2020 about the “anti-racism” programs being brought to parents and staff in various school districts. Another New York Times piece published just two weeks ago noted that critical race theory is a "framework that has found its way into K-12 public education."

The controversial, Pulitzer-winning 1619 Project, which was riddled with historical inaccuracies and crafted on the false premise that the American Revolution was fought to preserve slavery, has also been pushed into K-12 curricula. The project’s architect, Nikole Hannah-Jones, is among the many liberals trying to cast critical race theory in the narrowest terms possible.

She is trying to distance her shoddy “journalism” from critical race theory because the push against it is real and effective.

As with nonsensical definitions of "assault weapon" or weapon of war" in the gun debate, the Left constantly tries to redefine the terms of debate when they are losing an issue. Were it not for the shield of the Supreme Court, abortion would be far more restricted in the United States. That is also a losing issue for them, so much so that they must redefine the pro-life movement as “anti-choice" and abortion is a “procedure” or, more simply, a “women’s rights issue.” In recent years, they have tried hard to shift attention from abortion itself to birth control.

Now, they’re trying to erase their own connections to Ibram X. Kendi, Robin DiAngelo, and other racial hucksters whom they zealously promoted not long ago — people who, yes, have managed to worm their way into K-12 curricula. All of those school districts spending thousands on Kendi’s books, “anti-racism” programs, and bureaucrats with words such as “equity” in their title — now, these clowns want to make us all think that we imagined all of it.

This is obviously a good sign. It means that the push against these toxic ideas, from both Republican state governments and the concerned parents at local school board meetings, is working. Much like Hannah-Jones did in constantly moving the goalposts on the merits of the 1619 Project, she and other liberals are doing the same here because they are losing the fight to indoctrinate America’s youth with their toxic and divisive racial obsession. We are on the right path, and the push to reject these ideas must continue apace.

I wouldn’t say the Democrat party is losing but they realize that support for critical race theory isn’t as high as they thought and now they’re backtracking.

IMO the most effective counter to the constantly-changing evasive descriptions of CRT is just posting photos of the powerpoints/presentations or other literal things they teach.

CRT's definition of things like individuality/objectivity being white supremacist is pretty consistent across each program, for example, a quick image search

There's also those meme photos of the actual presentations, with background power point lists of things like "baseball" being white supremacist and whatever.
Works a lot better than suggesting CRT is “just asking questions” like that definition listed earlier. Since asking questions and looking harder at history is the cover story of CRT, while the reality is its adherents are defining white people or whiteness as everything they hate and working from there to decide what that means about history and society. It’s why it’s difficult for opponents of CRT to really define it, and should just move onto the insane conclusions it’s believed came to like in those presentations.

it is clear there are many on here who have not read anything much about Critical Race Theory.

Except what they've seen on the news and perhaps a quick look on Wiki. The right have a new boogey man.
Critical Race Theory means different things in academia and public discourse.

Looking at racism as systems and the results of history makes sense to some degree. The ideas of Kendi, Di'Angelo, Talcolm X, and the Progressive Stack are more of what we see in public discourse and public education.

It boggles my mind that something completely unscientific and unproven is pushed so hard by the "I FUCKING LOVE SCIENCE" people. There's no evidence for critical race theory. In fact, it is something that was never meant to be put into practice. Critical Race Theory is largely an academic thinking exercise and has been for decades. It wasn't meant to be policy because shocker, its just a fucking thought exercise. All of a sudden these people take this thought exercise as fucking gospel. There's no evidence for any of their claims, and any evidence they provide can be twisted in any way that they want to.

Its pure, unproven garbage. It is the only thing they want to explore. They don't even consider economic conditions. There's no such thing as 'socio-economic' anymore. Its just socio.

These are the type of people who would open racism workshops in some Appalachian town to have kids 'experience' slavery and teach them the white race is bad and go "MY WORK HERE IS DONE, RACISM CURED". Except that town's average income is $35,000. There's no jobs. Bodies are piling up like cordwood from addiction, suicide and murder. Properties are falling apart. But no, those racial theory courses will do those white people some good. Same thing with shit falling apart in poor neighborhoods.

"IF WE ONLY TAUGHT THE WHITES NOT TO RACISM, THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN."

No fuckface, its about class.

Its fucking easy. Its looking through the lens that all problems are inherently caused by racial divides and lack of equality of outcome has prevented minority success. The current systems are held up by the inherent majority, which is euro-centric in nature (IE: Whiteness). Therefore, these current systems are preventing minority success. So these systems must be torn down or repurposed in a way that is equal to all races, not just a Euro-centric viewpoint. Hence, euro-centric works hold an inherent colonialism in them which perpetuates the system of inequality.

Its a garbage principle that's a thought experiment. Functionally, its the fucking reverse. Classism leads to racism. It is a pure, ivory tower, academic thought exercise. Which is where it belongs. Its pure nonsense with no evidence for it. Its opinion masquerading as policy. Meanwhile, wealth is a clear, distinct and well-studied factor between different racial groups. Wealth will eradicate racism. However, unification of the classes is not in the ruling class' benefit, so any ideology must separate the classes. The easiest way to do this is race.

Critical Race Theory is functionally the tool of the oppressor: The wealthy. They use race to divide and split the classes and pit them against each other. This is not new. The Pinkertons inspired violent strikes and pit Italian and Irish immigrants against each other.

In every single generation, IDPol has been the tool to destroy class unification. How many African Americans the police killed have been remotely wealthy? I'll give you a hint: its fucking none. What about white people? Fucking none. Go take your tool of the rich and shove it up your faggot ass.

If you're not talking about class and uniting the classes against the wealthy, you're doing it wrong. That's why the modern liberal is the enemy of socialism. They have no regard for class consciousness, don't talk about issues the working class care about and functionally want to divide them among racial lines even though they occupy the same class grouping.

If you're dividing people among racial lines, you are an oppressor. You are not uniting people against the ruling class. You are not giving the tools they need to survive. You are not talking to their struggle. You are just a fucking tool. If you are doing anything but unite the classes against the ruling elite, you are an enemy of the working class.

The reason they keep pushing CRT is that if they don’t, they’d be without a job. People that have to work on the ground don’t spend their time wallowing on self-pity if they’re placed in a life or death situation.

Yeah okay, sure, they''ll lose control of the government, media and finance soon enough....

Don’t forget entertainment, either. Hollywood types are enforcing these guidelines in their TV & film industry, while still kowtowing to the Chinese market.

Nah, class is meaningless. Listen to Ketchup from Occupy Wallstreet.

I have read several books specifically about it. It is spiteful trash and pure intellectual dishonesty. You should be ashamed of yourself for trying to defend it and you should really be ashamed of yourself for lying about the nature of it in your efforts to defend it.

the biggest question is why is yahoo news publishing something like this
usually i associate them with low quality clickbait that's pretty high on the woke scale

waste of time to bother reading up on, it's just a new-ish term for the same old anti white propaganda they've been blasting for years (decades)

At this point it looks like it would take an apocalypse to remove the woke cult from power.

Like a big meteor or asteroid hitting Earth?

Like whatever happened in Cormack McCarthy's The Road. That level of apocalypse. But of course, by then, there's only pairs and trios of sane people trying to avoid the few hundred thousands of people who've reverted to cannibalism, so there's not much point at that juncture. Sadly though I think that's what it'll take.

Are you high?

They're certainly not losing for the time being, but they're certainly redefining CBT CRT since having standards is the albatross around their necks.
Just give it some time. Lots of people are pissed off and in some areas are already fighting back, or at least trying. Biden and his tard wranglers have only been in power less than half a year. I don't think people are going to just shit themselves and do nothing when their safety and quality of life is on the line, and while everything decent they know of society becomes uprooted and replaced.

If shit hits the fan and the economy tanks. stuff like this will just piss people off.
Yahoo news reposts news from major sites across the board. This is from the Washington Examiner.
Yeah, I’m a lazy boomer. Another reason that I will archive yahoo is that I’ve found sometimes the original sites try to prevent you from archiving them whereas the yahoo article can always be archived. I also really miss its comment section, especially when most of it would dump on the article, and A&H is the closest I can get.

Ah yes. The right flailing in the dark for some sort of relevance.

The Gop is the weakest its ever been in decades.

In 4 short years look at all you have lost. I say it over and over.

Lost the presidency
Lost the senate
Lost the house

Now the best you can do is accuse each other of being glow in the dark and are now too scared to come out and organize some sort of coherent response to this bullshit
