The Legend of Heroes Series - Possibly The Most Underrated JRPG Series

Star Door 15 imply that
Renne was not only sexually abused but she also cut herself frequently?
So, one thing about Daybreak that fucks with me is the fact that Renne ended up getting the same fanservicey DLC outfits that everyone else did. Don't get me wrong, I'm no prude. I don't have some sweeping hatred of fat milkers or skimpy outfits like a lot of other people on this website do. I just think story integrity should come first, and sexualizing Renne so hard after all she's gone through feels a little off to me.

Don't forget that Sky 3rd is also the same game where the characters are constantly trying to imply Agate and Tita are a thing, and the phrase "juvenile scent" is uttered. Sometimes I just want to grab Falcom employees and slap them across the face.

That's kinda weird, I'll admit. But, it falls under the category of "It's a mid-2000s JRPG, what did you expect"? Whereas what I was talking about falls more under "She's a victim of child rape. I don't think she'd dress like this of her own volition."

So i met this little girl in the game called Renne, she gives me weird vibes since everything surrounding her is super shady. Its adorable seeing her interact with Tita. Currently chasing her around grancel as she leaves riddles. Also gotta say the Phantom Thief side quests are fun as hell to do. Feels rewarding to know the spot of the riddle which makes it worth it to explore and remember the places.

The Phantom Thief quests have a "Can't really bring yourself to hate them." vibe to it. It's annoying and frustrating when they show up, and you go "Not again.", but then you do the riddles with of "Oh, go on then." attitude.

I always look up a guide and skip through the dialogue for the phantom thief quests. They always end up being one or two lines that progresses B and Olivert's rivalry, the rest of it is filler that doesn't really progress anything or characterize anyone.

To each their own, but i find it satisfying to be rewarded for exploration and remember places. Looking forward how Phantom and Olivier rivalry develops.

They're mainly there to serve as a reminder that Bleublanc is still a constant threat in the background, watching our party and issuing them these challenges that make them irritated. I think it's an effective way to blend gameplay and story together, that's why there are multiple Phantom Thief quests.

RENNE NOT LIKE THIS!

Fuck man, i got played like a fiddle.

If you highlight her in battle when you were escorting her around as an NPC, you would see that she a monstrous amount of HP.
Damm never noticed because i just wanted to get her to safety and avoided fights. I dont know much about her at this time, but she feels like a emotionally broken character, like victim of abuse or some shit based on her demeanor and how she behaves. Will Trails have the balls to tread upon dark themes?

Having a "soiled goods" mindset towards people like that is arguably much worse.

Completed chapter 7 of SC

So is basically a boss-rush chapter. Didnt struggle as much as i thought i would. Coming from FC, i used the same team and strat as i did with Richard:Earth Wall spam and Chaos brand. Also since im more adept at orbmaments i fine tuned my team.

Bleublanc: Fairly easy, more so when i realized i can track the real one by leaving it targetted with arts since it follows the og one.

Walter: Once he was alone i just spread the team and kept him pinned down with Zin while bombarding him with arts from Kloe and Estelle.

Luchiola: was the easiest one since her ghost things didnt hit me as hard( La Crest is pretty good) when she was alone i just bullied her with Zin and Joshua.

Renne: Kinda bullshit enemy placement and she opening with her S-Craft caught me off a few times. After 2 tries i just buffed joshua with Saint and by luck there was a crit buff so i True black fang and took out the droids. As for renne herself, had to fight her while spread since Bloody circlet would fuck me over. Im gonna level with you Pater-Mater was my bitch in that fight made it on the first attempt against him.

Was a cool chapter even if it feels like padding to extend the game lenght.

Currently on chapter 8 and its super cool how i have to actually equip the quartz thingy to be able to use arts.

SC is a marathon. While the scale of things happening is cool from a storytelling point of view It kinda sucks when you actually have to walk and do all of the towers, or walk across the entire country. And if you talk to every NPC and do most quests it slows the pacing to a crawl. It does pick up later though.

Because Sky FC/SC was originally meant to be a single game, there's a lot of faffing around and filler content in SC. Mind you, it's good filler content, the writers tried their hardest to make the best of it, but it's still filler nevertheless. I don't think I've ever gone from excitement to "oh..." when Estelle decided to train with Anelace at some place out of the country.

BUY MY GAME!!!

I don't wanna play FC in 3D then have to wait years before I can play SC in 3D. I'll wait until I can play them both back to back. SC Spoilers Seriously though I cannot fucking wait to see that scene with Estelle and Joshua on the beach and that scene where they fall off the floating Liberl Ark together and are saved by their dad riding a dragon. That shit's peak and I wanna see it in 3D. For the love of Aidios please be a normal ass remake and not have time travel bullshit in it

Fans of these games should have patience after dealing with how these games have released.
