BTW you can greatly soup up Linux by using an Anime desktop wallpaper.

Where is the content? Where's the funny shit? All I see are forum users being autistic about operating systems.
Get this damn thread back on topic or I'm locking it.

This thread is just as autistic as the people it was directed at

I had a friend who was big into Linux, and it;s probably no coincidence he was kind of a weirdo.

He was obsessed with his privacy to a very unhealthy extent, doing things to his PC that fucked its performance up to the point he couldn't run Skype and then he bought a libreboot, a 4,000 dollar laptop made in 2006 with an aftermarket addition.

He was of the opinion that text-only OSes were superior despite going obsolete in the 90's and kept shilling for Suckless, a website for Linux spergs who are so extreme in their tastes they REEEEE over the inclusion of GUIs and emoticons in chat clients.

In short, I think Linux fanboys are a ripe herd for lolcows
I think they're rivaled only by Wikipedos in terms of sperginess.

This is basically a similar reason to why Wikipedia is dying and its popularity is being killed off by smartphone apps; it's so ugly and outdated that it's barely even usable on smartphones, yet the shithole that is the Wikipedia community is so autistic that they throw fits over any attempts to update the website or make editing it legible to anyone without an Asperger's diagnosis.

Linux isn't dying, though. I think it's increasing in popularity, and is the established norm for supercomputers.

Wikipedia is declining at this point, especially with all the stupid articles about mansplaining, Gamergate, and similar claptrap which are locked from being edited or deleted. What smartphone apps are killing it off? Has someone put the content on Wikipedia in a more easily legible format, or is it something completely different?

"Mansplaining" isn't actually locked. Gamergate is a so-called "blue lock."
