Yes. With the passage of time, Linux gets better. Always. No negative changes can stick. If you don't like Wayland, you can still use X11. If you don't like systemd, don't use it. You can always get the best Linux available.
If the last time you used Linux was 10 years ago, or 5 years ago, or 1 year ago, or 6 weeks ago, it's better than you remembered it.
Meanwhile, if you don't like windows 11, your options are to use it anyway, fuck off, or run an insecure OS. If the last time you used Windows was 10 years ago, you were on either 7 or 8.1, so it's worse now. If it was 5 years ago, you were probably on 10 (which was worse than 7 and 8.1), and 11 is even worse. If the last time was 1 year ago, windows may not even run on your processor anymore.
