The Artix Linux forums are cozy as fuck to browse, really, takes me back to the days of VideoGameCritic.
Compare that to the Arch forums, Seth is like the Soup Nazi on there. You have to ask him for help in the correct manner or no fix for you.

Artix is looking more and more like the go-to choice for a stable systemd-less Linux experience. Normal devs, verbal dislike of trannies and CoC shit, rebuking corporate creep, what's not to love?
It's nice, but I tried it on 4 different boxes and they all had no wifi and/or no audio problems. The alt-init systems make solving these problem even more of a pain since the arch wiki and related pages don't have the answers.

This is the kind of horrifying shit, that comes from people trying to niggerfy computers down to the point a 3 year old can use them. When things are made "simpler" by actually making them 200% more complicated and retarded.

Also in general I hate the idea of having to "jailbreak" a device to just use it a bit more like a normal operating system. But that's another topic.
This person has always given me tranny vibes, but it's not as easy to tell for sure. Admittedly, things have gotten to a point where any time I find a "woman in tech" online I immediately assume it's a tranny (and usually I'm right).

Google seems to agree. But is probably wrong. As other sources show "her" as "Laurie Kirk"

Another user from the horrific hate site "Kiwi Farms" seems to agree that "she" is trans.

I would be as quick as anyone else here, to say It's not a woman, I've said a channel, that doesn't talk at all, that only posts videos of their hands typing on a keyboard, is a tranny (I'm almost positive those were tranny hand's, no fucking way it was a woman). But I do believe she is a woman. I would definitely need something better than a still that would look off because of how it was taken.

If that is a tranny, they do the best job of hiding it I have ever seen.

The only thing suspicious to me is the use of anime stuff on their unfinished website, but really that isn't too surprising with the tech nerd thing. https://lauriewired.com/

I figured I should post this. I haven't even watched it. But lunduke mentioned the site. (And 4chan) And the lawsuit.

Idk what to even expect him to say. Which is half of the reason I haven't watched it. I can never tell if he will be reasonable, or come up with the most retarded take possible.

I'm not sitting through a Lunduke video, but the written version (a) at least is just highlights from the filing.

Bar being unusually good at passing or some hermaphrodite bullshit, it is unlikely IMO. I can see why you think so though. Everything about her screams tranny, like the cosplaying as anime characters, being very girly (which is not a tranny trait on it's own at all because they never succeed at it obv, however in compsci most women tend to dress masc for various reasons) Breadtube production and lighting, having sperg level intelligence in a bunch of niche areas like computer security & reverse engineering which is super impressive although not so interesting to me personally. However her voice, head shape & face, the lack of an adam's apple, actually dressing good with proper make up (especially her hair, most trannies do not take care of their hair even if they can do make-up) lack of pronoun garbage anywhere and many other things show that she is probably just a very intelligent woman that presents herself in a very feminine way which is nice . I only wish I cared more about cybersecurity, encryption and reversing so that I could enjoy her content. She doesn't present these topics as poorly as she did in the past, but I just don't care about it. Her Twitter is better, it's just endless computer facts that I've never looked into or even heard about.

This is hallucination. She is not "openly" trans and does not ever talk about being one, she does not even have her pronouns in her bio on any of her socials.

I went digging through my browser history and found the video the screenshot I took was from:
It's from the first few seconds. Kinda sus imo, but idk what to think at this point.

Yeah no my troondar detects those arms as suspiciously male. Not sure, not 100% accurate, but theres something about that face? It's the eyes abd the area around them, actually

Calling a true and honest woman a tranny is really insulting. She has slightly wonky arms and she isn't conventionally attractive therefore she's a man? Really?

There's so many points against her being a tranny IMO other than just one, and that is how knowledgeable she is in an otherwise male dominated field. But that's just a sad reality motivated by a number of social factors. - One of those factors is how male trannies take up space reserved for female visibility to the detriment of actual women. Girls who look into compsci see an endless freak show of male sex pest trannies get further demoralized into believing there is no space for actual women in compsci. Now there isn't even actual female spaces for them either, which were already very small to begin with and they can't even complain about this issue without jeopardizing their career for "twansfobia".

Nah she ain't a troon. The voice is usually a dead giveaway. There is a subtle difference between an actual woman's voice and a tranny's voice. No man is born with the ability to naturally speak that high, and I doubt surgery or drugs can do anything similar.

My Windows install got fucked and refused to connect to the internet no matter which interface I used or how many times I reset my network stack or drivers. In the process of reinstalling the fucking select-a-drive screen was being a dumb little bitch and I got impatient and nuked my Arch install. The only reason I even gave a shit about windows now is because of playing BF6 with the girlfriend, and I hadn't touched my Arch install due to the secure boot bullshit. I am PROBABLY going to look into doing a fresh install and setting up secure boot this weekend, but I would also consider using a distro that would do that for me as long as it's Arch based. Are there any that will facilitate that?

she isn't conventionally attractive
She isn't? Look at how not-brown she is and tell me that isn't "conventionally attractive"

I remember having issues when dual booting Linux where Windows for some reason would refuse to connect to the Internet after booting to Linux then back to Windows. I found out why that was when I took the PC to a repair shop and it worked flawlessly there. Doing a RAM flush, so powering off the PSU, tapping the power button a few times to discharge the system and then switching it back on fixed it.

I had to tether to my phone to take care of urgent remote work, it was awful. But I hadn't even loaded grub since the first BF6 weekend, and even then the PC had been off for about 5 or 6 days. I wouldn't be surprised if it was some sort of hardware issue - this build has had an issue since day 1 where cold boot the GPU won't initialize and I have to c+a+d during post or blindly command a reboot.

Dual booting windows / linux is a known issue. Windows loves hogging the boot order and doing other weird shit if they're both on the same drive. If you have a separate drive, I'd go so far as to suggest physical isolation. Also, if you don't like ricing or taking for ever to tweak and config shit and like tiling WMs, you can try Omarchy as a preset Arch config. Its literally just arch with a skin and some config tweaks, so any command that works on stock Arch will work there too. Alternatively, 90% of people here can recommend you Artix, which is the de-faggoted version of Arch complete with devs that detest trannies/Code of C*nduct trash, no systemd and true chud computing. It's pretty good. You still use pacman, still have access to the AUR and have most of Arch's packages ready to go.

I haven't seen anything here to actually point to her being a tranny. And it really comes down to people, saying this one woman is a tranny, because she does happen to be the rare case of a woman actually acceling in a male dominated area. I imagine. If a woman does well in something like this, against the ods of them doing so, to have people tell them they are a tranny really isn't great feeling.

And like I said earlier. I saw a YouTube channel posting videos of their hands typing on keyboards, and call that for being a tranny, that other "woman" tech youtuber also, I called immediately to have someone confirm it.

This one

I see people pointing out things they thing make it obvious she is a tranny, which are mostly just some awkward features. but ignoring the things that make it obvious that she isn't a tranny.

Some of you need to take a break from Kiwifarms and get your troondar recalibrated. Laurie Wired makes good content but her "IM A GIRL IN TECH" style is obnoxious and her voice sucks. The info is pretty good though.

I'm almost seeing a hint of a five 'o clock shadow on xir face. Also look at those shoulders.
Veridict: It's a man, baby!

To take a break from troon-or-not, I took a glance at xir's video about iOS file system, and holy fuck I didn't knew it was that bad. My first (and only real) contact with smartphones was Android, and I just assumed that iOS is similar to it, as in the defaults are abstracted but you can just install an extra app to be able to navigate the real file system to an extent. And iOS didn't even have that and you have to jailbreak it to navigate the real directory structure?

Holy fuck I'm taking way too much of the freedoms Android gives you for granted, iOS sounds like a fucking nightmare. Now I understand why the whole "Gen Z doesn't know how file systems" work issue is a thing. They didn't even have an option to learn it. :stress:
