Mint is your best bet. I can never recommend Zorin to anyone just because of one thing: fucking GNOME. I hate GNOME like you wouldn't believe. It is literal sabotage to any attempts at getting widespread adoption of Linux. So go with Mint and be happy.
Yeah that's the biggest difference between Zorin and Mint. Linux Mint forked Gnome and have full control over how it works, Zorin is patching Gnome and is at the mercy of upstream changes.

Linus during the Linux challenge didn't know how to download a file from github and had to get personal help from a dev on how to. He really is that retarded
he only knows the old ways. mildly disturbing for something at the heart of almost every open source computer these days

its sad that every single tech youtube channel is the same, literally no one knows anything about linux or in-depth tech, even gamers nexus isn't good. none of these tech youtubers have any tech background, dev or IT. The only one I can think of is Level1Techs or louis rossmann.

There are highly niche gems.

My favorite is this German kid who wires up and builds VAXclusters in the spare room but then is really lost when dealing with Linux at all.

He was talking about the other Linus.
Oh that's fine then. I was mildly concerned that the father of Linux was using something like email chains and usenet to manage the code instead of a git server. Which means I probably need to go sleep now because I now vaguely recall that Linux Linus may have invented git or something.

Interesting information, too bad it's presented through faggotspeak.

A translation layer for Android applications without needing a container or sandbox would be nice, but personally I don't feel there's much worth salvaging from Android? It's probably less effort than maintaining WINE, and I assume it's insurance into the future when ARM continues to grow, and so does Android. And maybe it's an answer to Google's attempt at a wall garden.
There's plenty of companies that publish mobile gacha slop that would really like to also put their games on Steam but can't because they're hard-stuck to mobile platforms and don't want to spend the resources porting to a full desktop OS.

Considering that Valve would get a cut via Steam balance expenditures, they have a big incentive to make it easy to get those guys on Steam.

Intel's support for video is unmatched and they've been the gold standard for open-source GPU drivers on Linux for like a decade before AMD decided to make it their thing.

Will Lepton support X11?
No, almost all Valve software is targeting Wayland now. They're sinking money and developer resources into Wayland itself (some of which is aimed at buckbreaking the trannies currently controlling the Mesa and FreeDesktop projects)

Linus Torvalds did invent git, and the Linux project does use git to manage its source.

There is a workflow for using git over email and that's what Linus Torvalds does.

You don't need Github, Gitlab or some other big git web service to manage git projects, although it does help a lot in nearly all cases.

Imagine not mentioning my boy Tsoding, for SHAME. There ain't nothing more kino to have on the side than mr ruski emacs chud writing parsers from scratch or some shit. Bread on Penguins is pretty ait too if you prefer chudettes (GAY).

You do know that torvalds wrote git, right?
Edit: why am I like this

"linux is so good for your old computers that can't run windows 11!"
"oh uh yeah wayland doesn't work on hardware that old"
"no it doesn't have the features you need"
"what are you all fucking nazis or something just use wayland! throw away your old pc buy a new one that supports wayland"
What would be a perfect tech world for you guys this seems like a fun question.
>X11 wins
>Gpus are affordable.
>Compile guides for everything
>Infinite Free time
>Lua is used instead of python with packages for everything
>All Left ANTIFA get pemabanned and they all get excluded just how they excluded everyone whose not a left leaning political extremist.

Probably that, plus Linux Mint comes pre-installed on laptops at Walmart and Best Buy so that the normies can get into Linux easier, I stead of fucking Ubuntu being preloaded
