Is there a reason why these trannies love Rust so much to the point they will literally die for it? I know it promises memory safe code and all that, but for a group that loves to flex how good they are at programming, it confuses me why they won't just use C and make sure the code itself is memory safe than to heavily rely on marketing tactics and prayers.

Because it's Rust. Something they've thoroughly subverted and will now take it through the long march through the institutions to infest everything with themselves. It's always about them having more power over everything so that they can berate you and treat you like trash. It's the only reason they're trans, as long as it gives them the power high, they'll do it.

Emailed Richard Stallman thanking him for his contributions cuz I felt like it. Even after everything and on the cancer bed hes still fighting what a chad

Even after everything and on the cancer bed
He was lucky enough to be hit with something that has a high survivability rate and according to the statement on his page:
Richard Stallman has cancer. Fortunately it is slow-growing and manageable follicular lymphoma. Treatment put it into remission, and he can expect to live many more years. However, he now has to be even more careful not to catch Covid-19.
He's doing well and the prognosis is good. It's not always a death sentence.

Was humoring the thought of sending him an e-mail myself but I wouldn't have anything worthwhile to say. Thank him for his work? Ask questions about what he thinks about people preferring to use proprietary software over free software just because they don't find free software as good and if that's the main drawback behind the adoption of free software? He already acknowledged how people may prefer proprietary software over free software because they find it better and spoke his mind about it so again, nothing worthwhile to ask him.

We will cut into the email support system. Send a email so crafting so threatening and so powerful that they give us what we want and burn any automated messages that stand in our way

This is illegal to do to deny gpl source code that they originally provided at one point....
I guess maybe we could try building QEMU to support the board that even though is pubically documented I still have no knowledge on how to do.
If anyone wants the kernel vmlinux to try and see if they can get it running in a emulator like QEMU or ANYTHING(Print a single line of text to the console fucking anything and want to take a crack at it) message me and ill give you the binary as well as everything I have...

Its fucking over... its so fucking over. We may not be able to emulate this TV in qemu, we might not ever get this project finished....

You could go aggressive and talk about GPL violations and if they refuse, see if the FSF will go to bat. They’re insane maniacs but they’ve done a lot of good litigating stuff like this

could you politely ask them to loop in legal as withholding gpl source could is illegal and you will be reviewing your legal options?

I got it working without a kernel source.

I will make a long blogpost detailing HOW I figured out how to get the vmlinux working but it involved tweaking and using big brain moves/ideas in order to get it semi working. I think the UART isn't printing everything that it should. But to get it to even start PRINTING was a pain. But honestly it kinda was a out of the box working thing besides some tweaks. Its kinda insane HOW good qemu is.

I bought some FSF merch, but I still use gmail (I plan on changing that over the holidays), so I feel a bit ashamed whenever I talk to the FSF folk.
