First, let me point out that during this time, you have gone back to
Lars.

So, this was about last November (or was it October). I had
pre-registered myself for MagFest a month beforehand.

This makes no sense (surprising, right?) since MagFest was held in January at the Hilton Mark Center in Alexandria, Va., both in 2010 & 2011. Unless there's another "MagFest" of which I'm unaware. But let's soldier on, shall we?

Dana gave me an extra incentive for going, her female cousin was visiting; some hey-hey fun was a possibility. But, I was unable to afford a hotel or motel room, even with the M.F. discount. I was pretty much going for broke there.

"Hey-hey fun" is now my all-time favorite cwcism.

I inform my mom and dad of the trip to MagFest only, and I told them I'd be either sleeping in the lobby or in my car. I felt totally at unease to tell them of the "bonus round" (to put it in a p.c. phrase).

No, wait - "bonus round" is my all-time fave now.

My mother insisted I Not go, because of the crime risk and chilly temperatures. And to nail a deep nail into the coffin, she threatened that if I went, I would not be allowed entry back into the house; Lock Change included. Come push to shove; I stay home that weekend; $40 down the drain, and a missed opportunity. I needed to be sure I had a
Point A to return to, and that there was actually a solid Point B for me to arrive at.

Sure, Chris. Other than that pathetic rationalization, about the only thing I can deduce from this is Chris's priorities - Mommy's wishes are more important than getting his duck wet.

Factor in what happened years ago in my road trip to Ohio on how Both my parents reacted; putting a police bounty on my head among all of the emotinal trauma-dramas. I did not feel at ease to put them and myself through that again.

A "police bounty?" What was the reward? Twenty bucks and a slightly used dinette set from Goodwill?

So, that is Why I need all of the details here; If I make this trip on
the whim, I risk not having my Home to return to, and I need
confirmation on the Solid destination(s). And I Can Not afford at all
costs to put my mom and dad at their ages through soo much stress and
trauma... it could spell DEATH for one or Both of them. And I would be
homeless, out on the streets, within a few months. This Cinderella
situation saddens me greatly. Do you understand what I am telling you
here? As much as I need you in my life, in person, I can not be so
reckless. [:_(

between us next week or weekend.

Leaving aside the trauma-drama for a moment, all this folderal brings up an interesting question - is this Dana person a true and honest gal-pal with a cousin who wanted to give Chris his virgin breaker? Or yet another troll trying to get Our Pet Manbaby stuck at yet another toll booth? What's the consensus here?

Comiccon is expensive (my friend spent something like 3000 dollars on tickets, airfare and a hotel room), more than a thousand miles away and the tickets are impossible to get. Why the hell would he go to Comicon??

.. As I left her, I gave a “Double-Take” flirt. That was the rise; now here comes the fall. As I was sitting at my spot, thinking about future steps for later dates, Anna and Dana told me that when they talked to Hanna, she told them that she was setting me up in a prank. Well, really, the big question is, are those perks worth it? Especially to someone like Chris? No, especially for Chris.

Chris thinks there are tons of attractive women out there who want his dick. He's trying to save on the girl he gets. A local girl would be just as useful to Chris as some con floozy and be much cheaper (because he'd save on travel costs).

Personally I'd go to ComicCon just to see the professional Cosplayers. Mainly the Games Workshop ones. They actually have full suits of Space Marine "power armor" that they hire these people to wear. These costumes look like they weigh 200 pounds, but they're cool as fuck.

Why would Chris go? Pretty much what Marvin said.

Honestly don't see Comic Con as his thing. Movies and comics aren't his thing. Now E3 or PAX, he'd be in heaven.

MAGfest would totally appeal to Chris - I mean, it's mostly video game related, hell there's a huge ass room where you can play classic arcade games for free, plus you can play all sorts of console games. There's also panels and shit, hell they showed this Sonic fan film this past year, totally up his alley.

If Chris has some cajones, he should totally call Barb's bluff as I seriously doubt Barb would lock Chris out of the house. I mean, she needs him as much as he needs her. But of course, if Barb called his counter-bluff, well, I don't see Chris figuring out how to live on his own anytime soon.
