The Mining Pit

Had a thought earlier - Does chrome's 'inactive tab' throttling affect the miner? I only know this is a thing because games with timers will often start running slower than realtime if you don't put them in their own window. Should I do the same with my KF tab?
I think the Inactive Tab thing only affects the velocity of schedules. An inactive tab can only schedule an event once every 2 seconds instead of instantly. Since the miner is a slow, complicated process, it probably is unaffected by the delay in scheduling.

Gonna sound dumb but how do I whitelist the Farms bitcoin mining in its entirety? I'm running MalwareBytes and I got, like, 12 popups for blocked executions that were related to the mining op, and just putting KiwiFarms or coin-hive or whatever didn't fix it.

Add coinhive.com and kiwifarms.net to the whitelist. If that doesn't help I'm not sure what else could.

Turns out I had to individually block every single host of coinhive since apparently my antivirus is treating them all as separate domains.

Took about 45 minutes since MalwareBytes was taking its sweet-ass time to register every single domain, but there we go. Farms are whitelisted.

Let's get to it, then.

How much will this miner generate if I leave an instance of the farms open for the ten hours or so a day I'm at work?

Also, my CPU is only at 5%.

Is the miner inactive right now?
