@TrippinKahlua asked, and he shall receive.

We have an NFL thread, and an NHL thread, so why not NBA?

Pretty much anything related to the NBA is fair game in this thread. Predictions, praise, hatred, funny stories about idiots that play the game, favorite teams, and anything else Basketball. Just try to keep the laughing at the Kings to a minimum (or not).

To start off this thread and some basic discussion, who do the readers think is going to win the Eastern Conference this year? The Cavaliers or the Celtics? Considering how bad my picks for football last/this year, I honestly don't know. Is another team going to conquer the East maybe?

Other thoughts of mine
  • What the fuck happened to the Hawks this year? I know they lost some guys in free agency, but their play has been embarrassing.
  • Does LeBron James leave Cleveland again next season?
  • How do you think "The Process" in Philly is progressing? Is it full of shit or not?

I have a family member that legit goes full on 'REEE' every time his team is loosing or playing the wrong move and he doesn't even have Autism.

I asked huh? Lol, we needed it so cool.

I don't really start paying much attention until March, however. When Football is over and the common person doesn't have to worry about.

I don't have a home team, just whoever is doing most impressive once its not the team I call "The Lebrons."

My point is, its just so much easier for me to follow Basketball instead of Football.

Who do people in the Bahamas root for? I'm guessing either the Heat (geographically close) or the Lakers since they seem to be the most popular team abroad.

The nuggets have been the closest team to me my whole life. There's no reason to watch basketball here. Maybe back when they had Melo and AI....god that was some good apehoop.

Houston Rockets’ players James Harden, Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green pushed into Clippers locker room post-game looking to confront Austin Rivers, league sources tell ESPN. Security escorted Rockets out before anything turned physical.

This is the Raptors' year, and they'll finally get to the Finals.

This was a really good 1st day for the NBA post season besides the the Warriors/Spurs game, which was a complete sleeper.

I got to say that Jrue Holiday is the most underrated guard in the league. He doesn't pour on the points nor is he a flashy passer, but god damn he plays great defense.

I don't much follow NBA but the GSW are the only team I enjoy watching and I am a man who is a huge homer and I am not local to GSW. They are so fucking good and play real basketball. It's honestly the only team in the game that does teamwork.

The NBA has the worst officiating in all of sports outside of boxing.

I stopped watching the league after Cleveland was gifted a Lebronship and watched a handful of games last night whilst drinking at a bar and the refereeing is still 3rd world mob paid off/pro-wrestling level. I don't get how the league is so popular, when it clearly looks like they are rigging the games.

I like dunks as much as the next dudebro, but I'd like to see consistency in the whistles before I come back as a fan.

Go Heat!

I hope Oladipo is able to keep up the momentum leading the Pacers to win and hand lebron a first round exit. The Warriors without Curry showed suffocating defense that was great to watch, but the bench had way too many stretches of 0 points that let their lower seeded opponents creep back to a "chance" of being in the game and Klay can't be on the floor scoring out of his mind for 48 minutes.
