How good would LeBron be if the refs didn't suck his dick every game?

Lebron scored 46 points in one game to keep his team in the playoffs.

He's been doing it the entire post season. I cannot believe how bad the rest of team is around this guy. They can't score for shit.

This team would be nowhere near the playoffs without Lebron. If this year isn't proof that he's the greatest player of all time, I don't know what is. People still cling to Jordan as #1, but I'd argue that Jordan had better coaching, he had Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman, and had one of the best benches of the 90's.

You're absolutely right. And that's sports 101.. get a superstar player and build a team around him... because if you only rely on one player, the defense will solely focus on him. You can mitigate this by having a buddy somewhere near on talent level like Pippen and have an excellent rebound guy like Rodman... But Like with Lebron, it's just like let's hope he can handle this for us practically on his own.

I just don't want GSW vs CAVS for the fourth fucking time in a row, I need Houston to win Game 7

LeBron and the Cavaliers are down 0-3 again in the NBA Finals.

Cavaliers get swept. LeBron loses 0-4 once again and drops to 3-6 all time in NBA Finals (dude has been to 8 straight Finals, which is impressive). The Warriors win their 3rd title in 4 years and Durant says he's coming back.

Also, LeBron to the Lakers appears to be a strong possibility.

That would indicate that he's after his own image rather than trying to chase another ring. The Lakers are full of a bunch of literally whos, and even if you add King Baby, their record MAYBE improves 5 games from what they did this year. They would get utterly dominated by the spurs, warriors, red rockets, probably even Portland.

While I have no real vested interest in LeBron winning anything, I'd think that if he wanted to leave Ohio (like any sane person would) and still have a cakewalk through the east, he'd go to Philly. That team has some great young talent and would greatly benefit from a superstar veteran talent. LeBron on the sixers team of this year probably puts up better competition against the warriors.

Either way - Fuck LeBron. Damn crybaby.

If Lebron is after more championships, then his best two options would be either Philadelphia or Houston. Both of those teams are much farther along in their development, and Lebron could be the one missing piece that pushes those teams over the top.

I really hope Lebron doesn't go to the Lakers. Even if he's added to there roster, they're not going to beat the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals. In addition, the Lakers have a lot of young talent that showed some promise last year. I really don't want this young, fun to watch core not develop and go to shit because the Lakers front office feels like throw a shit ton of money at a guy who is going to be 34 next year and is one bad injury away from having that productivity go down the tubes. The Lakers should learn from the basketball team that's a few hundred miles north of them and learn how to scout and organically build your talent within your organization. When you've created this great team, but you're missing a piece and can't get a high draft pick because your team's record is too good, then go to free agency. Worked wonders for the Warriors.

Not really basketball related, but I love that no has bothered fixing the vandalized JD & The Straight Shot's Wikipedia article. In case some of you aren't familiar who JD & The Straight Shot are, it's the fucking awful indy band fronted by James Dolan, the GM of the New York Knicks, and it's the band he cares more about than building a good basketball team or the fans of the team.

In other Knicks news, the Knicks recently hired David Fizdale as their new head coach, a man whose staff is responsible for leading the Memphis Grizzlies to their worst NBA season in 8 years. I can't really blame the Knicks for the bad hire though because no wants to coach that god forsaken team and work under James Dolan.

For the love of god, I hope Kristaps Porzingas goes to a new team after next season is over. He's head and shoulders above this team and can do and deserves so much better.

Edit reasons suggest a previous version involved someone paid by Nolan to write a wiki article, which makes wiki autists pissed off and more likely to leave shit negatively biased.

I'm hoping in the next offseason they start changing the rules on what constitutes a foul. I know part of James Harden's game is to draw fouls, but he got away with so much bullshit tonight against the Lakers. It got to the point where Brandon Ingram, who is very mild mannered, shoved Harden because even he had enough.

See, I don't mind Lebron going to the lakers. Yes, his choice really did fuck over Cleveland who is now doomed to wander as a ghost team for potential years until they have enough cap to rebuild, but as a high profile player he really doesn't owe the team or the city his presence (solidifying the notion that team loyalty is a myth). And to be fair, he did fulfill his promise of winning a championship for Cleveland. Now he wants a new challenge by going to a fledgling Lakers team and possibly help bring them up. It's kind of fitting for a player like him to go for a new challenge like this; it may even benefit the league in terms of "fixing" parity, as not only does this allow the east to have a new team make it to the finals, but it also could create a new rival team to challenge Golden State as well.

So I don't have a problem with Lebron going to LA. I do have a problem with Cousins jumping ship to the Warriors however. That was a really lame move

What shocks me the most is the LA Clippers and the Memphis Grizzlies taking up the 2 and 3 slots in the west right now and the Boston Celtics being 6th in east despite being the favorites to win. Bucks are doing much better as well.

Lakers 120 - 133 Spurs

Lebron getting elbowed and the Spurs getting away with it in the Lakers vs Spurs game was so satisfying to watch.

Also Poeltl looks like Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho in some angles lol.

Boston aren't even a top 3 team in the conference. Hard to believe when you look at their lineup. I'd have said they were a top 3 team before Jimmy Butler got sent to Philly. I don't think anybody outside of Celtics fans expects them to even make the conf finals.

Currently 5th seed even with an extremely easy schedule this month. 8 win streak vs bottom teams but still managed to lose to Suns and Knicks @ home.

Raptors, Bucks, 76ers all had significantly harder schedules, hell even the Pacers are doing better with a harder schedule.
