Now you get to watch NBC try to recreate it and fail horribly.

In other news Caitlin Clark's WNBA debut smashed viewership records. Fever vs Suns got 2.3m viewers. The next game up, Aces vs. Mercury got 464k. Which is actually surprisingly high for a WNBA game but y'know a nearly 80% dropoff in viewership means people were just tuning in to watch CC, and they probably won't be back.
I guess the WNBA need more women like Caitlin Clark.

The WNBA really needs to lean on her to change their image and I think they know this.

I watched their last game and I don't think the announcers ever once mentioned that the top two scorers on the Connecticut Suns are literally engaged.

If two NBA stars on the same team decided they wanted to get married they'd have to fucking shut Inside the NBA down because it'd just be an hour of Shaq cackling.

Being engaged/married on a team together just seems like a recipe for disaster.

Anyway, this Pacers-Celtics series looks to be closer than expected. Though it is rather odd Indiana went a full two quarters without getting any free throws....

That choke by the Pacers is the type of loss that breaks a team. I still think the Pacers can steal a game off good three point shooting.
They did this against the Bucks too. Pacers just do not intentionally foul to close out a game.

I have no idea why because at all levels of basketball that's obviously what you do when you're up 3 with 8 seconds remaining.

e: I've also been watching the CBA finals and that shit is incredibly entertaining because refs call absolutely nothing. You blast some dude halfway across the paint with a charge? Ref just tells them to get up.

Seeing Siakam put his hands behind his back and move his head against Brown on that shot was infuriating, and I had no allegiance to either team. Like why not at least try to distract his shot.

And some people doesn't like then the WNBA needs her to changer their image and race hustlers cry racism because Caitlin is more popular than the black players of the WNBA.

As one Youtuber commented, it's jealousy who triggered them. What they'll if and when female hispanics players will join the WNBA?

The T-Wolves really just blew a near 20 pt lead.

To quote a comment in the highlight video: " Luka drilling that shot in Gobert's face is about to bring racism back". White boys, we're so back.

The talking heads weigh in on Luka on Xitter.

I don't hate the Mavs, but I do hate their owner. Couldn't he have just gone away to an island in the Pacific after selling his unusuable garbage media player to some idiot corporation in the early 2000s? Is that asking too much? But, nooo, he had to buy a sports team.

Looks like the Celtics are gonna sleepwalk into the finals (who have they faced, seriously?) and probably lose to the Mavs, though. 😡 Especially if Tatum keeps playing inconsistently.

Funny how I pay zero attention to the NBA regular season but kinda got into the playoffs this year. LeWhine James doing a first round exit might be the highlight so far.
