I'm a bit more more optimistic with the giant slavonigger back in the line up, though who know if he's ready. Probably won't be starting, but when they run a big line up he'll obviously make a big difference.

Celtics' Kristaps Porziņģis to Return from Injury for NBA Finals Game 1 vs. Mavs

During the regular season, acquiring Porziņģis worked out exactly as Boston had hoped. He averaged 20.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.9 blocks while shooting 37.5 percent from beyond the arc.

🤔

The more important part of Porzingis playing is less Horford on defense. He was easily the weak link of the starters on that end. I’ll be interested to see if Tatum shows up early in the game, but it’s not an easy matchup with DJJ or Washington taking the assignment.

There was a time where Kyrie could take over a Final and give you that extra push needed.

If he could just do half of that and at least average 20 points a game, I think that will be enough. Luka is going to get his after the much needed recovery time for his old man knees.

I think Gafford and Lively can cause a few problems too if they keep playing at their highest level. Gafford, especially, hitting Michael Cooper levels of efficiency.

It took KP getting injured for him to become the player the Knicks drafted and the Mavs decided to let the random bench players play pretend superstar. The refs aren't hurting things either.

Celtics win game 2.

The Logo is dead at 86.
I said it before, but this is now a literal turning point in the NBA. Jerry West legitimately made the case of being the greatest NBA spokesman of all time when he made the LA Lakers the actual go to team for championships and the like.

You will never see another player with greatness like him. He was just that special.

When Doris gets excited she leans into the mic and her New Jersey accent comes out. It's so annoying.

Anyway here comes the broom.
It's so obvious that the new crew doesn't jive well, everyother game JJ gets snappy with her over mundane bullshit. I miss the old trio, JVG is the GOAT when it comes to color commentary in basketball.

Anyways, Celtshits winning is disappointing, but perhaps Tatebum not getting finals MVP can make up for it? I hope it goes to Jrue or Brown.

JJ is such a fucking wanker I hope he gets the Lakers coaching job so I won't have to hear his snark anymore.

Is Luka always this much of a whining sissy baby? He's approaching LeBron/average professional soccer player tier crybaby status. Him fouling out was the funniest thing I've seen lately.

I don't know that the Celtics are the best team in the league by at least some metrics you could cook up, but they sure seem to be the deepest. Kind of scary when somebody like Porzingis (sp?) is more a nice to have than a necessity.

Does this make the teams losing to them lower than shit?

No it means I don't like the Celtshits

Celtics got a couple open 3s because he was standing there talking to the sideline ref instead of getting back on defense and guarding the perimeter. I'm surprised Kidd hasn't gone ballistic yet.
