I was in this place. Proceded to lose to the Rams in the Super Bowl and haven't felt joy since. I hope you cream the Patriots.
To be fair, my team isn't run by a retard who the league routinely has to chastise to spend enough money to operate an actual NFL team instead of relying on gibs from revenue sharing and otherwise cashing in on his inheritance from Daddy. We're run by the sister of the tech billionaire who bought the team and she's kinda sorta supposed to sell them off but that's mired in boardroom discussions and legal wrangling surrounding executing his estate.

Honestly, I’m happy with whoever wins this Super Bowl

-Evil Empire jokes aside, the Patriots have a built in story with Drake Maye being a fan in attendance the last time the Super Bowl was in Santa Clara, and going from that to playing, nevermind potentially winning the goddamn thing, in the same Stadium would be storybook.

-The Seahawks have the potential to “Finish The Story” of the Sam Darnold Redemption Arc, taking a man who was seeing ghosts in New York, to choking the playoffs as a Viking, to a potential Super Bowl Champion the literal year after said choke. It also lets me laugh at my Vikings fan family members some more, they’ve been coping HARD about “Nine” being the better pick over Darnold, but that’s bonus points.

My boy is gonna do it. I mostly hyped him up last year because it was funny, but I'm glad it's no longer a meme. I know everyone will clown on the Vikings for eternity when he wins it, but ehh who cares. Sammy is gonna do it and after the miracle he performed for us last season he deserves it. Go out there and sling it Sammy! Make the world see you the same way I see you.

Lul at Brocos fans saying they would’ve won if Bo was in.

Would it have been an improvement over Stidham, yes, but apparently Bo Nix can somehow control the weather, and that this is the exact style of game the Broncos have played all season (ie. keep it close and low scoring, then snag the lead in the final 2 minutes). The Blizzard more or less negated the ability to move the ball, and Sean Payton deciding to not go for the goddamn points fucked them over.

Now hopefully everyone has figured out the Bo-Shit and they never make it back here, solely to spite an insufferable fanbase.

Coping about Bo not being in is hilarious. The weather coming out to play was the football gods' punishment for a coach being arrogant enough to go for it on 4th in a one score game with his fucking backup QB starting the AFC championship. A coach who has only ever seen success in a dome, and acted like it.
No amount of Bolieving can overcome the sheer hubris of not taking the 3 points when you're in a situation like that. And the Broncos paid for it.

I really think it's only divisional rivals who are going to chirp at you guys about it, the decision to move on from Sam made perfect sense. You had to see what you had in McCarthy, and the last month of that season was pretty rough going for Sam.
TBH I've seen a lot of graciousness from Vikings fans about the whole thing as this past season went on, maybe part of that is the ones whose hot takes last spring aged the most poorly are staying quiet now, but a bunch of Vikings fans came into the Seahawks subreddit to congratulate him and are rooting for him to get his ring.

Fun fact: John Schneider is the first NFL GM in league history to reach multiple Super Bowls for the same team with absolutely zero player/coach overlap between the teams
They will sleep on Mike Mac for COTY. They will sleep on Kubiak for Asst. COTY. They will sleep on JSN for OPOY, and they may sleep on Emmanwori for DROY. But that executive of the year award had Schneider's name laser-engraved on the trophy around two weeks after the trade deadline, and he deserves it.

Imma keep it a buck. We would never have seen this much success if we kept Darnold. I think we'd have one more win this season if we kept him and all that'd lead to is getting blown out in the playoffs immediately after. I'm not going to completely sperg out about my team, but I will say that this year proved that the scheme held back Sam more often than Sam held back the scheme. I genuinely applaud you guys for what you have done with your team it deserves a ton of credit that I think you will get.
Congratulations on the season hope you take it all 52-6 and at half Vrabel comes out of the locker room clutching his severed penis in a vain attempt to turn the tide only to result in a kickoff return for a Seattle touchdown.

I'm hoping for a good superbowl, but i got this nagging feeling that the seahawks might boat race the patriots.

The patriots have gone up against some great defenses....but no competent offenses. Drake Maye has not looked good this post-season but all I hear is that its because he's playing such great defenses. How's it gonna pan out when he plays a good defense that has an offense that can rack up points?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a game similar to the Seahawks and 49ers.

There are times when a conference championship feels like the real Super Bowl and the actual Super Bowl is just a formality. While the Patriots are a very good team, the Seahawks are much more well-rounded and don't have any glaring weaknesses. It's entirely possible Darnold has a meltdown, but even then the rest of the team is strong enough to pick up the slack.

I like Sam, he doesn't look like as much of a faggot as Drake.
