I missed the ending of the greatest AFC Championship game of all time because I'm a pussy and almost had a heart attack lmao.

Joe Burrow, an absolute fucking legend. Knew it after his first 3/4 games, this kid is a future GOAT.

The best part is not having to hear Tony Romo verbally (and probably physically) masturbate over Mahomes for 6 hours in the Super Bowl.
Honestly, I think half of the reason I enjoyed Brady getting his 7th ring was that it shut up the insufferable "Mahomes is the next Brady" narrative that dominated 2019-2020 sports journalism.

Only Jimmy and Curt took the Rams to win. Did people not see the niners back their way in to the NFC championship? Did they not watch their season?
I gotta be honest I want the Niners to win and Jimmy to not pass for a touchdown again a) for the memes, and b) I want this Rams strategy of constantly going all in to build consecutive super teams and get endless media hype to die a horrible death

Congrats to the Bengals. Happy for them.

It's bizarre that the Super Bowl is going to be either Bengals-Rams or Bengals-49ers. When is the last time the Super Bowl was two 4th seeds at best? Has it ever happened?

I have the Rams winning this game. Jimmy G is hurt and even then, I don't trust him, I've always liked Stafford and him winning the SB after leaving Detroit would be a huge fuck you to the Ford Family. The Rams may have lost twice in the regular season to the Niners, but I don't see it happening today

Second year in the League and Burrow takes his team to the Superbowl. Fucking wow.
He's in pretty elite company. Marino, Warner, Brady, Roethlisberger, Wilson and...Kaepernick.
Sorely tempted to put that last one on Harbaugh, but he was pretty dominant when he was the hot hand, the motherfucker.

Agreed. Rams should win this one, maybe not handily but I really think they have the momentum. Stafford can make it, and I really hope that he does.

>the mental image of my 15 year old self laughing at my current day self for thinking that the Bengals will not go to a Super Bowl as long as you’re still living on Earth

And now comes the tricky part: WILL THEY WIN IT ALL? 🤔

Kaepernick had some decent talent. Derailed his career due to politics tho. I’m surprised he didn’t get picked up by a team like Tampa bay when they were shopping for a super bowl winning team with Brady, Gronk, even AB etc. edit: ignore this

Kap was banned by owners. He got a massive settlement from the league because of it - he was deliberately being kept from being hired by ownership despite his performance and his willingness to tryout and do interviews with them.

Yup. Classic blackballing.

He derailed his career by sucking. The league figured him out and he was too dumb to know how to change. He then lit his career on fire with the activist shit which inflated his ego to ridiculous proportions and demanded a bunch of money and a starting job so he never became a low-cost reclamation project. This was after he got beaten for a starting job by Blaine Gabbert.

He's an idiot who sucked. Final answer.
