However, Watson himself turned that initial agreement down because he wanted an all or nothing deal that got all of his accusers off his back. Looks like his lawyer finally talked some sense into him and convinced him to get as many monkeys off his back as possible in the interest of his career.
Honestly that was a pretty smart idea of Watson. If he managed to settle them all he could stay out of court, NFL would give him like 8 games maybe and try to ignore it.

Soon as he walks into a courtroom it's going to be a media circus. Nobody really cares about this right now except people who watch the NFL but if that shit goes on CNN then the NFL is going to be forced to be harsher.

Most lawyers would tell you to settle as many as you can, not wait to settle them all. By dragging this out as long as he had, he allowed the story to stay in the media instead of dying off and he allowed the number of accusers to grow to the point he faced 24 at once, and he still had to settle with only most of them, not all. Any holdouts are just holding out for bigger paydays anyway.

It's going to be hilarious. I hope the gooch masseuse is one that he didn't settle with. I want her to go on the stand and tell people how she showed up to give a massage and Watson layed out on his back lifted his legs up like a baby getting its diaper changed and told her to massage the space between his nuts and asshole. If that's his opener, you know he got his butthole fingered by a couple of those women.

5 will get you 10 that there was a strap-on somewhere in that room.

Jaylen Feruson from Baltimore died at 26. No official word on death but it looks like it might be an overdose

In sadder news, The Goose has also passed away. I wasn't old enough to remember everything about him but he was funny in hard knocks. Helped contribute to probably one of the funniest clips from that show

Baker Mayfield is being traded to Carolina. It's apparently for a conditional 4th round pick (that could wind up as a 5th rounder.) Cleveland and Carolina also agreed to split his salary with the former taking on $10.5 million and the Panthers taking just $5 million.

About time this happened. Was tired of hearing these stupid stories about the Browns trying to reconcile with Baker

Not only that, but it's a 2024 4th/5th rounder. Not even a 2023 pick.

Like, that's the best they could get? Seattle didn't offer more or did Baker ixnay that location? I feel like backup QBs have gotten better hauls than a conditional 4th in two drafts.

The Bills traded a 7th rounder for Case Keenum to be their THIRD QB.

Teams knew the Browns needed to offload him. So they all low balled the Browns. Not a single team is going to do the Browns a favor after how badly they have fucked up the QB market with the DeShaun "Massage My Taint" Watson contract. Only thing that could make it better is Watson eating a full year or two suspension but that probably won't happen.

I wish both Seattle and Carolina low balled them a little harder for this deal but both of those teams did need a QB. But I really am hoping for a full year at least. Or maybe something comes out of these cases that shows how shitty it really was and how criminal charges should have happened and Watson gets a lifetime ban along with the Texans getting punished. That would be the greatest timeline. NFL dealing with both the Redskins Commanders and Texans organizations

I look forward to when the NFL punishes the Texans more than the sex pest. Not IF but when. We all know it's going to happen. I just hope the owner of the Texans talks mad shit when the NFL does do it.
