The answer is both. GM Belichick gave him zero weapons to utilize and keeps overpaying for mid talent and coach Belichick put Patricia as his OC for a year and forced regression.

Chargers’ coaching staff is so bad. Herbert’s arm talent is for real, but doesn’t it look like they run the same plays over and over ?

Also, Staley has some real Ethan Ralph tendencies. I’m talking the pathological need to spin anything and everything into a “win”.

I remember last year when they got embarrassingly dismantled by the Jags and blew that giant lead…some reporter asked Staley if he thought that he had been out-coached…Staley with the most Ralph tier response: “Wasn’t out-coached in the 1st half”.

Will someone explain to this idiot that the game is 60 minutes long ?

Also, why the fuck does every QB in the league just have to sit in Shotgun on every down ?

I’d understand if your QB was a midget, but Herbert is 6’6” or some shit.

The Patriots back in the day killed teams by running the same exact play from like 9 different personnel groups and formations. Defenses didn’t know what the fuck to do, which is why the Pats kept whooping teams.

As a Chargers fan, I'm over this fuckin season. Defense plays like shit playing their DBs with a huge fuckin cushion and the offense is so inconsistent. Fuck this god damn team

I haven't caught any other Chargers games this year. Has Herbert been that inaccurate all season?
As a Packers fan, I feel your pain. Constant injuries of key players, offence can barely get going most games, and the defense might as well be coached by a headless chicken. If they lose to Denver next week I'm going to have a hard time even justifying watching more games this season.

It didn't take me long to get pretty good at guessing the play based on the way the offense was lined up.

It's installed horribly too. At one point Herbert was signaling to put a receiver into motion and the guy just stood there.

Outside of Herbert the team really looks like it's just going through the motions, waiting for Staley to get fired.

He really hasn't been inaccurate but sometimes he will those wide open throws then make an impressive throw downfield. However, it seems he doesn't go through his reads because he will have a receiver open but try to force to Keenan Allen.

Packers are officially a Work In Progress now. I would not want to be a coach for them before any game this season. Help is not on the way, and the Lions are going to run away with the division.

Your only consolation is that the Vikes and Bears are just as shitty as you are. Scratch out a couple of wins against those two, and start over in 2024.

I'm not gonna claim to know much about coaching but Belichud is a retarded GM. He's signing washed up players like Zeke Elliot and Ju Ju Smith Schuster to try and support a QB who really could only succeed unless he had a good team around him. Look at Derek Carr in New Orleans. Despite the shitty play calling, he's been alright because he has Michael Thomas, Chris Olave, and Alvin Kamara to help him run the offense. I'm not saying Derek Carr is as bad as Mac Jones, but he's a mid game manager who is elevated by the players around him. Belichick could've tried building around Mac Jones and trying to develop him into a good QB but at this point it's basically over.
