Yeah, I'm still pissed off over Superbowl 47 but at least there's the silver lining of Kaepernick not having a ring.

I remember seeing a YouTube comment about the kneeling on a video that's a letter to Goodell from retired US Marine Colonel Jeffery Powers.

It went like this:

"To the NFL players,

You graduated back in 2011 with barely passing grades with your best friend.

But while your friend was working double shift at McDonald's, you were a running back for your school's football team because you could run with a ball for 40 yards in 4.25 seconds. One day you saw some Power 5 recruiters at your school that heard about your athletic prowess. The same day you signed on the best college football team in the country, your best friend signed on with the US Army.

While you enjoyed the college life, your best friend was in the mountains of Afghanistan fighting an unseen enemy. While you were scoring touchdowns, your best friend was dragging his battle buddies across miles of mountain ranges with some of them not making it. While your name was called in the 1st round of the NFL draft, your best friend signed on for 4 more years.

When you took a knee during the National Anthem, your friend was watching the game. To say he was livid would be an understatement. He asked himself this question, "Why did I ever consider this man to be my friend?"

Was it worth it?"

I mostly recall this from memory but it was probably one of the better comments on any YouTube video and that's saying a lot.

Also one of my friend's said that Kapernick spoke with a veteran about kneeling but I couldn't find anything concrete.

If you look very closely, you can see Chargers players blinking "S.O.S." in Morse code whenever a camera is on them.

So... was anyone expecting this game to be a blowout?

What the fuck is Thursday Football that the fuck mothering Raiders are closing in on the scoring record.

Like, is the league just trying to fuck with Amazon?

You see this just proves my delusion. The problem with the Raiders Vikings game wasn't that both teams suck, it was the opposite. What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? Nothing. The problem was that both teams were just too elite.

I have changed my mind. As long as it isn't my team playing Thursday night, I love it. You literally cannot predict what will happen anymore and that just adds to the fun

A little since the Chargers don't have have Herbert, have a hack as their coach and other problems but not this much!
This can't be a real game.
We did have the Dolphins absolutely blow the hell out of the Broncos earlier this year and last week a game that ended 3-0 so unfortunately yes this is a real game unfortunately
Is this NFL season worthy of a Lolcows of History thread like the Great Neopets Shitstorm of 2015?
You might want to add info on some the previous seasons that were crazy too and were a lead up to this year
