I somehow feel like, despite how fucked Dallas' roster is with injuries rn, We still fuck this up and give them their first home win of the season.

If Hurts' ankle injury is more serious than they're letting on, and I have to watch Kenny Pickett for the rest of the season, I might kill myself.

How's that $50mil a year investment now, Jerrah?
Honestly, I'm not seeing how even a fully healthy Dak is worth anywhere near that much. His crude stats are not bad at all, I'm guessing fantasy owners aren't too disappointed, but so much of what he does occurs in garbage time it is almost a meme in itself.

I'm guessing the Greatest GM/Owner Ever™ is trying to get another SB win before he shuffles off this mortal coil and was willing to spend whatever it takes to see this happen. And somehow he thought Dak was Lamar Jackson crossed with Tom Brady or something. Whether McCarthy is a competent coach, well, I have my doubts, but I'm not sure how well any coach would do with Jerry breathing down the back of their necks 24/7. I doubt Ben Johnson (Detroit OC) would be interested in the Dallas job, as a f'r instance.

He isn't really tradeable at this point and Jerrah doesn't have time to waste on another young QB that might turn into something. And Idk any QBs that are out there that would be up for a trade with Dallas that doesn't involve turning over every draft pick they have for the next 3 years.

McCarthy hasn't been the same since the 2014 NFC Championship game and no coach with any worth wants to go and deal with Jerry. I would only suspect Belicheck would want to go there to get the all time win record but thats about it

We are getting closer to the Deion/Shedeur Sanders era in Dallas....

The only 2 "real" coaches Dallas has had under Jerrah both left, and for the same reason. Johnson found himself facing the same shit in Miami, I believe Parcells retired?

Colorado has certainly turned things around this year. There's a distinct possibility CU goes to the CFB playoffs, given how shaky BYU is looking in the Big 12 right now. Never would have expected this given what a lunatic soap opera last year's season was. But it is what it is, and at least some of the credit must go to Coach Prime himself. And if there's off the field shenanigans they're being kept in house or covered up pretty well.

But...I just don't see ol' Neon Deion (a nickname he loathes, IIRC) being at all able to work with a Jerry Jones. Or pretty much any NFL owner/ownership group that's not basically completely checked out from day to day operations. (Jets and I think Broncos, maybe the Giants at this point are kinda like that.)

I think he's also said he prefers the college level, but he's also said a lot of things that haven't exactly come to pass.

If it does happen, you could probably sell tickets to the joint press conferences. Especially if the team starts losing. That would be a complete circus.

Parcells three-peated his tradition of retiring to go work in the front office of an AFC East team, that time to the Dolphins.

I want to clown on the Giants for managing to put up zero points in the first half against literally the worst defense in the league, but more than that I just wonder how the fuck the Seahawks managed to lose to this team.

I think Daniel Jones gets benched after this loss to the Panthers. They aren't out of making the playoffs theoretically, but realistically it's so over. If they're gonna move on from DJ after this season now would be a good time to bench.

Are special teams units drunk in the Steelers @ Commies game? 2 muffed punts by the Commanders and a failed fake punt by Pittsburg that was just dropped by a wide open guy.

It would be interesting to find out if Drew Lock was simply lucky in his few starts for us, or if Pete Carroll successfully rehabbed another QB.

I simultaneously believe that the Chiefs are borderline frauds, but also that they're going to three-peat as Super Bowl champs. I'm even 50/50 on them going 17-0 this regular season as I completely expect them to end up coming back to beat the Broncos here in the fourth quarter; their only real competition left in their schedule is Buffalo next week and Houston in late December. There hasn't been a single game outside of a few weeks ago against a very banged up 49ers team where their opponent didn't look to be hanging right with them for most of the game.

Should I even be happy about this win? I guess we avoided another complete collapse.

They're definitely frauds but yeah it somehow might happen.

Dude, losing a game on a personal foul penalty is a pretty disastrous example of an undisciplined, poorly-coached team.
I think Doug Pederson won't last the season, at this rate. The Jags have some standout talent but they're playing cooked.
