Anyone know why there aren't fans in Vegas? I was under the impression the casinos were open in some limited capacity.
I just came back from Vegas and some stuff is still closed but are reopening soon like the shows on the Strip early next month. The impression I got being there was that the locals like the Golden Knights a lot more than the Raiders outside of California transplants.

NOBODY likes the Raiders in Vegas except Californians, Raider fans and all of the new fans. It's not so much the team which people hate, it's their ratchet fans from Oakland and LA who come to Vegas. People also love the Knights as being a team which they can call their own and the Raiders are seen as a shitty hand-me-down. That being said, their stadium is gorgeous and if they win, people will quickly jump on the bandwagon

I like the stadium and want to go when the Packers play there in a few years. You are right about Raiders fans as I have dealt with them at Lambeau and they aren’t the nicest people. They didn't cause any trouble at least as the worst fans can’t afford to go to Green Bay.

They should have done a swap. The Raiders should have gone back to Los Angeles and the Chargers to Las Vegas. And San Diego is just a few hours away on I-15.

But whatever. I'm not watching woke assed pro sports anymore anyway.

Of coarse they do. Inaugural season they make it to the Stanley Cup Finals? That's fucking crazy. I've waited decades to see the Wild to reach any pinnacles of success the Golden Knights did. I had to watch the Stars cunts win the Stanley the year after they moved to Dallas. (:_(

Well, time to spread some rumors because it's funny.

I'm going with Herbert paying off the Chargers doctor to puncture Tyrod Taylor's lung with a pain injection.

I've been on suicide watch for the past 24 hours upon hearing the news about Saquon Barkley's ACL. Just kidding ... But not really. lol.

I'm a Giants for for life, no matter what ... But god damn, the offensive line just keeps outdoing themselves in how disastrous they are. Every season, they get even worse.

For years, Eli Manning got the blame, which I found to be disgraceful. I fully believe that Eli would be a 3x Super Bowl Champ had he gone to a better managed team post-2011. Eli's biggest fault was his loyalty to the Giants (and I love him for it, don't get me wrong-- I'm super proud of him). Once Daniel Jones came into the picture last year, the media and the dumbass Giants fans had already annointed him as a GOAT before the kid could even have the chance to prove himself. Look at where the team is: New fumble-happy QB, same huge problems. The team is a crater-sized head wound, and management has no fucking idea how to stop the bleeding, apparently.

And don't even get me started on the organization's choice to bring Jason Garrett, Dallas' table scraps, as the new head coach. FUCK. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it! I seriously believe that they couldn't find anyone better because good coaches are no longer waiting in line to work for the Giants these days. It's sad to see.

I feel so bad for Barkley, man. One of the best running talents the NFL has seen in years, and his career is going to go to waste with the New York Giants. I love my team, but the franchise is a dumpster fire right now, and it's going to be like that for a long-ass time. Oh well, as least my team still has their name? And at least I haven't had to feel embarrassed about Odell Beckham Jr.'s antics anymore? I'll take what I can get.

Anyway, my early predictions for the Super Bowl:

NFC Championship game is going to be the 49ers vs the Seahawks, and the AFC Championship game is going to be the Chiefs vs. the team that loses to the Chiefs.

I'm intrigued about how well the Raiders have started off their season, though. That Monday Night game was actually exciting. It's becoming more rare for an NFL primetime game to not be boring these days, so it's always a nice thing when I'm actually excited throughout the whole game.

Jacksonville's defense is atrocious. They're making Fitzpatrick look like elite right now

EDIT to avoid double-posting:
This was a typical Thursday night game where it usually isn't competitive. Fitzpatrick became Fitzmagic tonight (let's see if he can continue to be Fitzmagic against Seattle next week). Jacksonville's offense in general looked terrible, with no offensive line and Minshew being off. I'm not going to use this game to judge Jacksonville's offense as they've scored points in the last 2 weeks, but their defense is just garbage and has been all year

So are the Jaguars Tanking For Trevor or not?
Everyone expected them to but then Minshew started playing like he didn't get the memo.
But tonight they looked like absolute shit so who knows.
Speaking of which where is 2021's golden boy going to end up?
The Colts appear to be putting forth a modicum of effort so they won't get to fuck up a third generational QB in a row.
The Steelers need a QB but barring a monumental trade they won't be anywhere near the 1 pick.
The same goes for the Saints.
The Eagles are looking pretty bad but with Wentz and Hurts I don't know if they throw a third QB into the mix.
Which leads to my sneaking suspicion that Trevor might be coming to the NFC North.
I'm torn on that possibility.
On the one hand maybe one of the Packers division rivalries might actually become good again.
On the other hand...
The Lions are the most likely possibility but they would probably waste/fuck up Lawrence just like they did to Sanders and Megatron and Stafford.
The Vikings look bad but I don't know if they're bad enough and Cousin's is eating up a lot of cap space. Plus fuck the Vikings.
And finally the Bears are actively winning themselves out of what they need to become a contender i.e a QB better than Trubisky.
So it's all up in the air at the moment.

I heard Cowherd the other day mention the Jets or Giants as being potential landing spots. It's surprising, but crazier things have happened. I don't think the Jaguars are in the mix for a QB even if they suck. Minshew, outside of tonight, has played well

My bet for now will be the Jets. I can't see many victories for them in their next 14 games and I don't think Sam Darnold is going to be a long term piece in New York, especially if they could snag Lawrence.

They just got beat by a team on literal crutches.... I'd put some money on an 0 - 16 season being in the cards.

Week 3 and Fox still has the fake crowd noise overpowering the announcers. Is nobody on their team actually listening to their product? Or is it just my weak boomer ears?

Raiders defense is shaming NE early and forcing three-and-outs.
