Oof, Packers defense not off to a good start. No way Brady should have gotten that TD.

Yeeeeeaaah. This is going to be a wild one.

WOW. Brady with a Hail Mary TD with 1 second on the clock before halftime. Absolute GOAT.

With this win, Tom Brady has now done the one thing his idol Joe Montana never did - take his new team, late in his career, after all those rings, to the Super Bowl.
At this point I'm just enjoying the ride. I don't think we'll ever see this again.

EDIT: also I like how the Lambeau Field DJ had such a hardon for latter-era NIN, that was a treat.

Green Bay had their chances after being down 28-10. Brady gave them 3 interceptions in the 2nd half and they weren't able to capitalize on it. I don't think the pass interference at the end should determine the game as the ref's reffing up. They let them play, but the jersey tug was too obvious to not call it. It wasn't like a phantom P.I. or one which the Rams had on their run.

I didn't think that Tampa would get to the SB after their slouch midway through the season, but I am glad to see them make it.

Man, I expected the NFL to push the Super Bowl with Kansas against Green Bay. Didn't expect this but now I can see Brady being a bigger draw!
Roger Goodell attended this game instead of the AFC championship and the team with the QB who personally embarrassed him won at the end of the day. I really don't think this league is rigged as much as it is incompetently run.

Good point. I'm always skeptical to the point you could expect the more popular teams will more than likely compete in the play offs.

The Bills are in the playoffs. The Browns just beat the Steelers in their first playoff game in years. Both have massive bandwagons and will be fairly popular teams next year. Success breeds fandom.

What do you guys think of that pass interference call at the end? To me it looked like even though the Jersey was being grabbed it was 100% a flop, and the ball was out of reach (so it was a bad call)

It was too obvious to not call it and the jersey tug was extremely noticeable. As I previously said, I don't think that this should be the reason why the Packers lost.

The most egregious call was having Aaron Rodgers as your QB and not going for it and kicking the field goal instead. Even if you don't make it, you put them right there and your defense has stopped them for most of the 2nd half. If your plan was going to require you to get the ball back anyway, then go for it. You're against Tom Brady, the man whose entire career has been spent crushing the hopes and dreams of millions of fans and thousands of players.

Would be pretty funny if the Cleveland Browns won the Super Bowl. I still remember the Facebook jokes where they said that the Cleveland Browns suck more than a Justin Bieber concert.

Good times. :eli:
