He could've just taken his DUI like a fuckin' man, but no, he ate his gun instead after a police chase.

Womp womp.

Nah, it was something else. He texted his family and friends goodbye and they and the NFL called in a wellness check on him. DPS found him and he drove off and killed himself.

If that is what happened and it wasn't just trying to avoid jail over bullshit then that is actually sad.

Cowboys D is bad, but not "eat your gun in a porta john" bad, imho.

(Now if anyone in the Cincinnati secondary had any honor...)

The real surprising thing to learn tonight outside of the Kneeland and Antonio Brown stories is that Geno Smith is the quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders and they currently have a 2-7 record.

How did that happen?

The Raiders just aren't a good tea, this year and he has regressed in how he plays

From the current timeline it's even weirder than that. I assume he texts his family and girlfriend telling them he's gonna end it all. Girlfriend calls DPS at 10:30 PM telling him he's armed and mentally ill.

DPS finds him and attempts to pull him over for a traffic violation at 10:33 PM, he speeds off and they end pursuit. DPS shows up at his home at 10:40 PM. Car is found crashed and abandoned, body is recovered in the area nearby at 1:31 AM.

The cops finding him and trying to pull him over seems completely unrelated to the wellness check. You know cops don't respond in three minutes. Really fucking awful luck for someone armed and actively suicidal.

Seattle covers the flaws of QBs it seems, looking at Geno and Russ.

It amuses me in an odd sort of way that the Seahawks apparently moved on from both of them at the perfect time before they both turned to complete shit.
Russ seems to have become washed at the exact same time 2 high safeties became the norm leaguewide, and he's never been able to throw over the middle, so he was just fucked. I don't think it's coincidence that Russ and Kyler fell off around the same time.

Geno dunno. Chip Kelly's playcalling is not good and will likely end whatever resurgence his career was having. The designed run for Geno where he faked the handoff to Jeanty and tried to do an outside run was hilarious.

The dude is 35 and his legs are busted what the fuck are you doing Chip.

The interesting thing is that the Broncos only won because of terrible coaching from the Raiders.

Chip had:

1. The aforementioned designed run for the slow old man.
2. Brock Bowers jet sweep (predictably got stuffed at the edge)
3. Trips running short sit routes into the flat. This is one of the dumbest plays I have ever seen. Is Geno supposed to throw it into a mess of six dudes who jump for it and whoever leaves without an injury wins?

2nd quarter they go for it on 4th & 5 at DEN 47 (bad idea) even when their offense has been struggling all game (worse idea,) Geno gets sacked for a nine yard loss. Broncos take over at DEN 38 and that's how they got their only touchdown of the game.

Whatever team gets Darnold next, I’m sorry in advance.
I figured it was a fluke with Russ, but seeing how Geno is doing after reuniting with Pete (and Chip Kelly, awful as he is, is still an upgrade over Josh Grubb when it comes to playcalling), I'm really starting to wonder if John Schneider has some kind of sixth sense about QBs.

Investigate his agent. I know he's had injuries last year and this year. I wonder if he was playing hurt out of worry for how many games he missed, and the pain or the self-medicating got the better of him. If his agent was supplying him with drugs it would explain a lot.

No, they're slamming down diner food and fast food while traveling. Prime fat f*ck making material.
Couldn’t they brown bag it for most of their meals on the road? That would be a lot healthier than consuming restaurant food.

To add to what CapricornusRex said, more often than not they'll wine and dine the kids or eat dinner at the kids' house.
Are they allowed to pay for a recruit’s meals? Seems like it would be a violation of some sort.

Currently, who is the best running back in the league?
