Tonight's game was better than I thought it'd be. An exciting start with the first three drives all resulting in TDs. The Eagles were really marching down the field on that last drive, but it was too little, too late. Brady goes 5-1.
That last drive was seriously impressive. One of the best series of plays the Eagles have had all season. On the Bucs side, I think Tommy's passing game was on point, but the Buccaneers defense is really good this season too. It'll be interesting to see how far they go.

It looks like last night's game against the Buccaneers was the last one in a Philly uniform for long time tight end Zach Ertz. He's been traded to Arizona for cornerback Tay Gowan (drafted in the 6th round this summer) and a 5th round pick in the upcoming draft.

NFL teams always try to win, they NEVER have rebuilding years. Right?

I guess the Cards figure they're in the hunt to go deep into playoffs. NFC West is just brutal, though.

Kind of fucked they traded Jalen Hurts' only real target but I guess they're trying to go big in the first round of next year's draft.

I think it's more that they're giving Goedert a chance to prove he's legit. He only missed last night due to Covid, but he'll be back for their next game. He's a free agent at the end of the year and I imagine they intend to re-sign him.

It's not in the NFL's best interest for those emails to leak, so I don't know why anyone thought they would've leaked them
Because they think Goodell isn’t just an agent of the ownership.

This almost certainly coming from Snyder’s legal case. Snyder being a petty shit might make the league actually make him sell the team.

It was stated last year that Goedert was going to be the guy and everyone in Philly was wondering why they wouldn't trade Ertz the whole season.

I just want the cowboys to win the big one again they're off to a good start so far but I don't want to get my hopes up
Hopefully they stay healthy. Once Lawrence, Collins, and Gallup come back, I like our chances. They should win this trash division pretty easily, so they'll get at least one home playoff game.

The Londonville Jaguars won their game today, their kicker coming through on two over-50-yard FGs in the last few minutes of play to knock off the Dolphins and break their 20-game losing streak.

There are two commercials with Rob Gronkowski they keep showing us, one for insurance and another for a cell phone service, and both kind of make him look like a doofus. Does he have a reputation of being kind of an idiot in real life? I didn't think so even though the name Gronkowski is kinda inherently funny.

He likes to play up his own goofy nature. He’s a jokester apparently.

He's always had this frat boy meathead persona he plays up whenever a camera is in front of him. He seems like a nice enough person though.

Nothing but blowouts today. I thought Ravens-Chargers would at least be close, but damn they got fucking bodied. Gotta give their secondary credit for coming to play against Herbert.

GOOD LORD. Sam Darnold on this final drive against the Vikings, he balled the fuck out. Two huge 4th down conversions, then topped it off with a TD and a 2 pt conversion. It's 28-28, going into OT.

Vikings doing their last minute Viking bullshit, Panthers defense shitting the bed. Looks like they're about to ice it.

When did Kirk Cousins become fucking Aaron Rodgers?

Cleveland and Arizona heating up after looking like a boat race early. Browns aren't built to come from behind so let's see if they can get it going.

In sad Bears news, Aaron Rodgers said "I own you" after scoring the game-sealing touchdown against Chicago. Thankfully most Bears fans are as dead inside as I am and know it's true.
