Ha ha, the Cards are gonna steal it. What an unfortunate ending for Cheeesheads. Murray's gonna be the QB of the decade, I think.

Oh shit I guess I typed that too early lol

As a Seahawks fan, I'm torn between being glad to see someone finally knock the Cards off the board, and the fact that its a) the Packers, and b) it happened via an end zone interception.

Anyone else think LaFleur's clock management was really weird this game? He burned through timeouts really early via Aaron trying to get neutral zone infractions.

Yeah I didn't get that either, there was almost 6 minutes left on the clock when he called the final one. That delay of game basically saved the Cardinals' life.

It hurts to see it all get thrown away on that interception though, that's a tough loss man. That game shouldn't have ended like that.

They were weirdly dedicated to it in the second half. I think Rodgers took at least two delay of game penalties and timeouts besides trying to fish for something from their defense. Maybe they thought with JJ out the Cards would be more likely to jump the snap out of desperation? I'm really not sure.

Here are the matchups for tomorrow. It seems like most of these games are going to be ugly as hell.

I'm actually kind of looking forward to Eagles-Lions, that could be a fun one. Same with Patriots-Chargers in the afternoon.

All the early games have a high potential to be shitshows, so if you watch red zone you might be in for a treat.

Chicago has their Special Teams coordinator with his Special Teams Haircut as acting Head Coach today with Matt Nagy out from Coronachan.

Edit: Chicago lost that game can one of you put me down please.

Geno Smith is scared to throw to anyone and the pocket keeps collapsing, but Jacksonville's defense keeps getting obvious penalties and gifted him a field goal to end the half.
I don't know diddly squat about college football, are the rules more lax? Or is Urban just doing a really bad job building a disciplined team?

Urban has totally lost the respect of basically all his players by now. Especially with the 12 men in the field double up.

The Jags got out-scrambled by Geno fucking Smith and the announcers are so bored one dude's talking about his child being born in a bathroom.
If it weren't for my irrational fear of somehow cursing the Seahawks, this game would be off by now. What an embarrassment. I want to say Jacksonville's cruising for a first overall pick, but apparently the Eagles somehow blew out Detroit, who so the hell knows.

This Vikings game is pain. Kirk has lost any idea of what a pass longer than 6 yards is.

Those Western Kentucky quarterbacks are some gunslinger. Not surprised to see the Jets put up 400 yards passing today.

Pain, this is pain. What a terrible game overall here.

Absolutely trash showing from the Vikings. Complete fucking trash. And I do mean complete fucking trash. Fire Zimmer. Just fire Zimmer and trade Cousins. Absolutely complete trash play in an otherwise winnable game

EDIT: They went 1 for 13 on third down conversions. One for fucking 13. Cousins couldn’t throw further than 6 yards, and made some of the dumbest fucking decisions I’ve seen for targets, ever. No excuses. Zero excuses. Everyone needs to be fired. This game was winnable, very winnable, and EVERY TIME the offense has to do something, they fail. Every time. They were gifted two turnovers. Couldn’t get shit out of them.

Absolutely fucking trash. This is just beyond trash play, it’s a disaster, beyond a disaster. Cousins flat out cannot win or play in prime time games. He can’t. Every time without fail he finds a way to curse his team.

Oof. Thank God that's over.

These last two Sundays have been rough in terms of entertaining football, at least in terms of the games I've been able to see. Even the Bucs-Saints, while mostly watchable, was still frustrating thanks to the Bucs basically penalizing themselves to a loss.

Baker Mayfield definitely cried after he lost to a washed Ben Roethlisberger, it was pretty funny

Some big news around the league today:

  • the Broncos have traded Von Miller to the Rams; Denver gets a 2nd and 3rd round pick in the upcoming draft

  • Derrick Henry may be out for the season; the Titans are now working out have signed Adrian Peterson

  • Jameis Winston is out for the season with a torn ACL; they're not considering Cam Newton as a replacement nor will Drew Brees come out of retirement

  • Danielle Hunter of the Vikings is done for the season with a pectoral injury; he has recorded 35 sacks in his last 39 games
