I love how everyone is shitting on the pro bowl game. At least Mac Jones and Parsons were being entertaining!

Any guesses from you football fans on what music Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Bilge and Kendrick Lamar are going to perform with on the Super Bowl?

I’m giving a preconceived statement here, but if they really perform this song:

I think it will go down as one of the most awkward things I’ll ever witness. Probably even more awkward than Eminem performing Stan or The Way I Am.

I love that the Texans hiring Lovie Smith is still proof that the NFL is racist because they didn't hire Flores.

Nothing will ever make these people happy.

Forgot about Dre and California Lovin' are absolutely happening, and I know that none of the artists involved wrote the latter song, it's just too obvious for a rap-themed LA halftime show.

I know many on KF obviously aren't fans of gansta rap, but I grew up in the projects before I moved to the country and became the big redneck that I am. I was raised on rap. Like many young men with absent parents and shitty home lives, I found inspiration in music that tells you to keep fighting, be strong, and that no bitchass government or corporation is gonna save your ass. Yeah, I mean, a lot of it is self-destructive, because it tells you to bang every chick you see, which results in STDs and multiple baby mamas, and shoot a dude cause he disrespected your shoes. Somehow, though, I avoided gettin shot.

Im hoping they play "The Next Episode" or "Still Dre." They got some of the catchiest beats of all time.

Da da da da da!

I don't remember if Emmanuel Acho is woke or secretly based, but he called out Brian Flores because the law firm he's using to sue the NFL is entirely made up of white people.

Now, this is something I would say if I was trying to be ironic, but I can't tell yet if Acho is being ironic or not. This was on Fox Sports, but still.

Hello my fellow white 'folks'

I asked one of my black students what he thought of the Brian Flores and hiring practices controversy, and no joke, he thought about it for a second, shrugged and said "maybe they just werent as good as the white dudes."
That is what most people are going to think, I believe. We aren't in the Jim Crow era; if they're not as good, they're not going to get hired. It's not about race.

He was on Colin Cowherd last week where he gave the story how when he was with the Eagles, they kept interviewing Duce Staley, the RB coach, just to comply with the Rooney Rule.

I don't think he is woke but someone who is calling out bullshit when he sees it like with Flores law firm. Sharpe and the rest of them are woke and I actively avoid watching those topics. I do miss Jason Whitlock as he was an "Uncle Tom" and didn't buy into this woke stuff.

It feels like the Texans were shamed in to the hire. They should have just kept Culley if this is the route they're going with. Lovie's a pretty good DC. He's a trash head coach.
They were absolutely shamed into it. I wouldn't be surprised if Goodell made a personal call to McNair and told him the league couldn't afford the bad optics of them hiring Josh McCown, a guy with all of 1 years' worth of experience as an assistant high school coach, over the remaining black candidates.
If McCown winds up as a positions coach on the Texans this year, I expect within two seasons Smith will be fired, regardless of record, so McNair and Easterby can build a proper team of God-fearing men in Houston.

NFL Honors tonight:
MVP: Aaron Rodgers, Packers
DPOY: TJ Watt, Steelers
OPOY: Cooper Kupp, Rams
COTY: Mike Vrabel, Titans
Defensive Rookie: Micah Parsons, Cowboys
Offensive Rookie: Ja'Marr Chase, Bengals
Comeback Player: Joe Burrow, Bengals

Zero upsets in my mind. All of these were consensus picks. Maybe Brady vs. Rodgers has some debate since they both got rocked by the Saints, but still.

Can any of my fellow Kiwis help an old man find somewhere to stream the stupid Super Bowl? I'm not paying for fucking "Peacock", and I'm not giving my credit card number for a free trial anywhere, either...I'd rather just not watch if it comes to that.

I grew up in a little town south of the Kentucky border... things were simple. You tended the farm, raised the herd... and if anyone gave you shit? Son, you beat the fucker down. You were a man. And under that hot alabama sun you learned the values of christ, america, and manhood- the missisipi trio as my pop called it... may god bless his soul...
And a man like me? Well when we weren’t out hunting or at the bar? We watched sport. None of that pussy european shit- real sport, arizona sport. I’d get back home... hang up my duster, cold beer, my girl cooking some fineeee BBQ... and id watch muscular, toned black men. Sometimes they’d collide into each other, sometimes bounce a ball... but they were always fine specimens. I’d watch those darkies sweat and toil for hours... and I’ll admit my loins stirred more than once... called it the texas rise, heh... and when I watched those guys play, my mind... wandered. I imagined them taking my girl... like animals- hoo boy did that get me goin! I remember, in the 12th ad break of the NFL playoffs powered by mcdonalds I’m loving it, right after the arbys presents: the danger kick! I noticed my missus watching those stallions on screen... stroking that pussy of hers. And I tell you what... without a word I drove her down the city, philidelphia- my home- and she made love to every nigger in sight. I milked my johnson more than ever that night. So when you pussy europeans talk about sport... remember what REAL men play

Comeback should have been a dual award for Burrows and Dak.

Merry Super Bowl to all Burgerland Kiwis (and those watching from elsewhere). I think LA is going to run away with it sometime in the second or third quarter— boring overall. At least the playoff games were unbelievably exciting.

I was watching the anthem on nbcsports.com, but then they popped up a "Log in with your cable provider" box that couldn't be dismissed.

Not giving pisscock five dollars.
