Davante Adams supposedly all but finalizing a trade to the Raiders to play with Carr.
I'd think this a meme if literally anyone but Rapoport was the source. Holy shit. Rodgers would throw to a room full of literally whos were this to be the case.
Bleacher Report has picked up the story too. The Packers are finished if true. Michael Rodney pointed this out:

The #Packers haven’t had a WR not named Davante Adams catch more than 40 passes in a season since 2017. That’s pretty incredible. Tells you two things - 12 throws A LOT of balls to 17, and Brian Gutekunst hasn’t acquired a starting-caliber WR since being named GM four years ago.

A twitter response had this nugget to add:
MVS, our 4-year (on-paper) WR2 until yesterday afternoon, has seen more than twice the amount of targets (247) as he has made completions (123) Whatever a WR2 is, that's not it

The Packers literally have nothing at WR for their $100 million plus quarterback to throw to.

Edit: Apparently the deal the Raiders are giving Davante Adams makes him the highest paid receiver in the NFL.

Rumor has it that after Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll thinks Colin Kaepernick deserves a second chance in the NFL, there’s now speculation that he could sign him to the team after Kaepernick’s IG video showing him that he still has been working out on the football field while still sidelined since 2017.
Booo trade for Baker. Here's what happens if we sign Kaepernick:
-Enters training camp, begins QB battle with Drew Lock
-Lock wins by virtue of being nearly 10 years younger than Kaep and having taken an NFL snap in the past 6 years
-Team is mired in racism controversy throughout the season
-Braindead Kap fanboys who don't actually watch football games and their "wine aunt in the making" girlfriends start giving me shit IRL for wearing Seahawks merch

https://youtube.com/watch?v=FgfLxy4QSE4The Packers segments of this aren't acting, not in the slightest. He's been losing his shit on twitter for the past hour. I can't stop laughing.
Please stop man. I am already trying to understand how this team functions with the highest paid QB out here deciding whether to hand the ball off to a RB or Fullback. We drafted Amari Rodgers last year but like, come on. We need to get someone who can actually catch a ball

Okay this is some bullshit. After indications that Deshaun was going to give his answer today, we are now getting reports that "Deshaun Watson currently expected to take next few days and contemplate his decision over weekend, per league sources, over which team he'll waive his no-trade clause for, and Falcons have pushed back Matt Ryan's $7.5 million roster bonus from Friday to Tuesday". Like, nigga really? You've had over a year to figure out who you want to play for. Why drag this out? Teams and players are waiting to see what you are going do before making Free Agency decisions! What is this bullshit? What in the hell does Atlanta have to offer you, besides being "home"? WHY THE HELL ARE YOU DRAGGING THIS OUT?!

Because "Fuck You!", that's why.

He needs to properly experience all of the massage parlors in both cities before making his decision

Watson's being a bro and making sure the franchise QBs at places he might consider get their roster bonuses this weekend before he makes a choice.

I mean, that's the charitable reason, and one I'm not opposed to. Of course the uncharitable reason that much of twitter seems to be running with is that, he's made his decision, its the Falcons, and the only reason he hasn't announced it yet is that he's giving the Falcons a chance find a good trade partner to take on Matt Ryan. Either way, he's leaving the entire NFL in limbo as he holds up the process, and its going to hurt either of the teams he chooses, because while he's waiting, marquee Free Agents are flying off the shelves. If he wants to help the team he's going to be quarterbacking, he needs to make a decision NOW.

I'd like to point out my previous post was nothing but a thinly veiled Matt Ryan reference, since the Saints don't have Winston on contract yet and Hill already restructured his contract.
It'll probably go over the weekend entirely because the Falcons asked for the time to find a good Ryan trade, as you said (IMO they've now joined the same Mexican Standoff the Browns and Colts are in re: Garoppolo, Mayfield or Ryan, though maybe they make the moves tomorrow), and we'll hear something definitive on Monday, upon which Free Agency will truly explode.

Kyle Pitts. If he can stay healthy, he'll put up Kelce numbers with Watson next season.
And the Saints have Michael Thomas, who is probably the best receiver in the league outside Davante Adams, along with Alvin Kamara, one of the best running backs in the league bar none. The Saints also have one of the best O-Lines in the league (when healthy) and one the very best defenses in the league. They also have a steady, consistent, and good coaching staff and front office, something Atlanta also doesn't have. Its really no contest.
