And the Saints have Michael Thomas, who is probably the best receiver in the league outside Davante Adams, along with Alvin Kamara, one of the best running backs in the league bar none. The Saints also have one of the best O-Lines in the league (when healthy) and one the very best defenses in the league. They also have a steady, consistent, and good coaching staff and front office, something Atlanta also doesn't have. Its really no contest.
If Watson really controls his own destiny (which it looks like he does) and he picks Atlanta over the Saints, then he better come away with a lombardi trophy. Otherwise it will appear like he chose something else over winning

And that would be exactly true. Fact is, Atlanta will not win a Super Bowl even if they get Watson. It will take 3 to 5 years for that organization to rebuild. And Atlanta would have to trade away all of their draft capital just to get him, which would only extend the time needed to rebuild. The Saints are the only team vying for Watson who are actually built to win now. They only need a few pieces, which they can get in Free Agency, so losing the draft picks won't hurt them as much. And they've got young players, on rookie contracts to trade for him, so they won't have to gut their team.

He would win early then go through another cycle and have a chance to win again. It would literally be Brees all over again with Watson if he goes to the Saints

He is not winning if he goes to Atlanta, period. That team is nowhere near competing for a ring.

Drew Brees won a ring with the Saints, which is what Deshaun wants. And honestly, if it wasn't for the Minneapolis Miracle and the worst no call in the history of sports, they would have at least two more. Only other competitor in the NFC South is Tampa, and the Saints beat them every time they played them in the regular season, shutting Brady out the last time, despite not having Sean Payton coaching or much of an offense. The only reason the Saints didn't beat them in Brees's last game is that he was simply too old and his arm had clearly given out. Otherwise, the Saints would have won that game.

He will be competing with the Panthers for the worst team in the NFC South for a few years before they actually look decent. He will just be going to a different shit show than the Texans

The Saints nearly went to the playoffs last year despite playing with a white running back and a QB4 starting for them. Fucking Kirk Cousins would be considered elite if he was playing on that Saints team right now. The no call and Minneapolis Miracle not happening doesn't guarantee that the Saints win 2 more rings but it puts them in spots to win. Brees last year in the playoffs was just brutal to watch. That entire year, every team (after the fucking Packers) figured out Brees didn't have the long ball. It just took some proper game planning in a must win game for the Bucs to shut down that offense. Jameis probably could have won that year

Rumor has it that after Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll thinks Colin Kaepernick deserves a second chance in the NFL, there’s now speculation that he could sign him to the team after Kaepernick’s IG video showing him that he still has been working out on the football field while still sidelined since 2017.
🤡 why even make a statement if you don't sign him? If you are that sure, bring him in.

And let us not forget, Payton left the Saints. How much of their success was his coaching?

The take with Afro is that you bring him into your team that is tanking so you get a lot of good publicity while losing every game and getting a draft pick or you win and your issues are solved. Problem with that is you are most likely going to get destroyed, have a locker room that is split, have way too much media coverage that will just be harassing the shit out of you, and you will lose your job because the product is god awful

And let us not forget, Payton left the Saints. How much of their success was his coaching?
Payton was an offensive coach though. Their defense is still really good and the hired from within I believe

They literally promoted the defensive coordinator who led their league best defense to the head coaching position, and this was the same coach that coached the Saints on Sean Payton's behalf when the Saints shut out Tom Brady. Not only that, but their offensive coordinator, who worked with Payton, is still with the team. Their coaching staff has overall remained stable, and they've picked up more good coaching staff besides.

Yeah, Watson not picking the Saints would mean he doesn't care about winning a ring. In which case, why the fuck is he leaving the Texans?

If my posts contain more typos than normal, it's because of the two dozens eggs on my face right now.
How the fuck?

Oh man Steelers fans must be so fucking excited they get to be the ones making rapist QB jokes after the past 15 years.
Playing against him with Mitch Trubisky, on the other hand...
