IT'S GAME DAY BROS

Falcons are so cursed. I'm not a sports gambler, but are you allowed to make bets in the 4th quarter? If so it's probably best to put money down on Falcons opponents anytime the Falcons have a 97%+ chance of winning.

LOL 9ers.

If the Panthers could stop the run they probably win the game.

LOL Stillers and Bungals. Too bad Tree isn't streaming. His rage has to be hilarious right now.

Early slate of games was wild between Bears-9ers, the shitshow of OTs in Cincy and Indy, and the return of Baker to Cleveland.
Packers-Vikings and Raiders-Chargers shaping up fun early as well.
It's good to be back.

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS MOMENT TO TELL THE PEOPLE OF DENVER TO GET UTTERLY FUCKED.

Fuck their stupid brown city, fuck their miles straight of boilerplate craftsman houses surrounded by miles of boilerplate 2000's suburbs, fuck them for not even having a prominent mountain in local view like a proper Front Range city, fuck their airport in the middle of nowhere with a statue of what may as well be Satan's own horse in front of it, and fuck their endless trash talking for the last six months.

Your own coach doesn't trust the QB your team sold the farm to bring on board, because you are utterly incompetent at scouting and developing the most important position in the game of the NFL, to deliver in clutch moments instead of attempting a field goal that has been made maybe a dozen times in league history.

And you're paying him a quarter of a billion dollars. Great investment! Have fun when Jeudy fucks off in a year b/c you can't pay anyone else and your WR room is reduced to Courland Sutton and a box of scraps.

Give Derek Carr a fist bump for me when you join the Raiders in your division's basement.

I've been surrounded by Seattle fans all my life, and normally find them unbearable after the first Super Bowl win in 2013. But they did what they needed to vs Denver, and the Denver Coaching staff should learned fast from this management fiasco. I doubt they will.

That's Good Sports, a Broncos fan, did a video on that bullshit, including some analytics showing just how fucking rarted it was to run down the clock and try for an FG instead of just calling a TO and trusting Russel motherfucking Wilson to throw for another five yards. As I said on Poast, it feels good to have my armchair coaching validated by someone who makes a career armchair coaching.

Seattle's defense looked unexpectedly thorough in that game too. Maybe this won't be a "rebuilding" year for them after all…?

The Saints managed to pull off one of the most unbelievable comeback wins in modern NFL history.

The Saints were literally dead in the water for the first three quarters, playing some of the worst football they've played in years. You ever heard that old saying "The New York Jets don't play football, football just kind of happens to them" ? Well that's what the Saints looked like for the first three quarters.

Then, in the fourth quarter, they suddenly became a completely different team. Its like they woke up and went, "Wait a minute. We're the Saints!" Then they came down from a 16 point deficit to win the game!

At the end, say what you want about the first three quarters, a good team finds a way to win any given Sunday, and the Saints found a way to win.

Don't know why anyone expects Tampa Bay to win the next game, let alone blow the Saints out. They did not look all that good in their last game, and only scored like 17 points. The Saints have had their number for two years straight. Don't see what's going to change about that now.

Bowles is playing super conservatively because we have no O-line depth and our WRs are in various states of broken along with Fournette.

I wouldn't be surprised if we go 1-3. This is more about not getting anyone brutally injured and just scraping our way into the playoffs. It's not going to be an exciting season.

Love the chargers defense, held it down and kept the points against down. Offense showed great progress from past years but as always. Turn over to pick six yeah not cool. And Herbert getting hurt very not cool.

Anyway, Bolt Up let’s go Bolt Man.

(Hopefully I thumb-nailed this photo)

Tbf Everett wanted to get out that play, he was fucking exhausted, but they kept him in anyway, and he got beat ez when targeted. It was only really half of Herbert's fault.

That definitely extinguished most of the momentum they needed to close it out though.

The chargers were in that tempo attack and didn’t want to let the chief sub out, on top of that Herbert was pressured and made a bad throw because of the pressure and should have thrown it away. Shit happens but it cost us the game.

It's amazing how fast the turnaround is happening with Florida teams (well except Tampa lmao). The Dolphins are legit scary and Doug Pederson is just annihilating what's left of Urban Meyer's professional reputation in Jacksonville.

Howie Roseman's got to be real happy the Jalen Hurts experiment is panning out, because if the Eagles were still shaky and I had to watch my former head coach succeed this hard on his new team I'd be positively seething.

Tua was injured and showed signs of neuro damage and STILL the Dolphins sent him back to play and shit hit the fan really hard: Tua body locked up and he fell down
Whatever your opinion on the Dolphins and/or Tua this was horrible to see
Edit: Okay so the previous injury was a concussion a few days ago against the Bills

Holy fuck. As the man said, shameful. Heads need to roll for this.

Really home he turns out okay. He had a bright career ahead of him. But if not, he should sue and get all the money he would have made in another ten years of his career as judgment.

Urinating Tree. A sports 'tuber, though I think he started out doing video games many years ago. I like his weekly recaps but I can see how his tone might not work for everyone.
