The Jets just had a super heartbreaking loss at Foxborough. The game was 3-3 very late in the 4th quarter and New York had to punt; it was returned by rookie Marcus Jones for 84-yards and a touchdown to give New England a 10-3 lead (and eventual victory) with five seconds left. It was the first punt return TD in the entire NFL this season.

Also on the topic of returner TDs, former Patriot and current Falcon, Cordarrelle Patterson set the NFL career record for kickoff return TDs today in a win against the Bears with his 9th, which went for 103 yards.

Okay, Bill? I know you hate the Jets, but that was brutal even by my standards.

Edit: Holy fuck, those stats. The Jets had SEVEN YARDS of offense in the second half.

He served up the Belichick special.

Taking advantage of the shitty weather to turn the game into a defensive grindfest and win with ST. Against the Jets. I mean seriously he may as well retire at this point it doesn't get more Belichick than this.

The Jets attempting to play for overtime was bad, goddamn that was a hell of an ending. I'm curious what the headlines in NY are gonna look like tomorrow morning.

It's high humor the Bears had the best returner of all time, Devin Hester, set his return TD record as part of the Falcons. Being a Bears fan would be pain if I cared anymore. Good on Patterson. Weird career but he's found his place.

Between this and the Giants losing, it will look much like how usual NY sports look. If it’s not the Rangers, then they’ll just pretend to put Kyrie Irving’s name in the headlines for clickbait reasons since they don’t care too much for the Knicks.

Saleh: Jets' 2nd-half offense vs. Pats was 'dogshit'

Watching Denver get swept by the hapless Raiders via a completely blown coverage in the final minutes of the game was hilarious.
I thought I was being optimistic thinking top 10, the Broncos might just hand us a top 5 pick.
That was beyond blown coverage. The one guy you have to cover.................

lol. I didn't watch it. Was watching the Lions destroy the Giants defense.

There's just something magical about Lions games this year. 9th ranked offense, the 32nd ranked defense in the league. You know they're going to score points but you're playing roulette with the defensive coverage. Pretty sure their front seven might have more INTs than their DBs do.
