If Kirk's injury is serious then the Packers get the last laugh. We've got great receivers and JJ returns in a couple of weeks, but without a good QB it really is fucking over. I feel bad for the Packers though, it's a sinking ship and everyone looks bad.
That looked to be a non-contact injury. Hopefully, it's just a minor sprain and he can get back on the field this week.

But never feel bad for pro teams. Everyone still gets paid a shit-ton of money, even if they look like utter ass out there. By committing back-to-back PFs to negate a great pass break-up, for instance.

This is exactly what we deserve. The entire fanbase drove out an elite QB because they didn'y like the "drama" in June. Now they get to enjoy a team that is only slightly better than the Bears

The level of cope and hope on the reddit was fucking insane. It's been very funny to finally start to see it slowwwwwly wane.

The Bronco’s - of all fucking teams - beat the Chiefs.

Did Perna start sacrificing Goats to the Football Gods or something? Or can the Chiefs not win without Taylor Swift present/Refball occurring?

Fuck Jordan Love

I knew it'd be bad but this shit is unwatchable.

One score game, apparently with a fully healthy Aaron Jones and they still try to sling it at every opportunity. Maybe someone should have a quiet word with LaFleur about the fact that his O-line is about as makeshift as it gets, and hey, let's not make our young QB run for his life every other play.
3 games vs 3 bad teams and 3 embarassing losses. I feel like I'm getting the authentic Detroit fan experience. I didn't expect them to be great, but I would appreciate if they didn't look so dogshit while losing.
I think there's lots of blame to go around for the Packers and it's certainly not fair to pile it all on Love, but I'd feel a lot more confident for the future if he actually made some of his longer pass attempts. The most baffling decision is why they seem so hesitant to use Aaron Jones; he's easily their most dynamic offensive threat but LaFleur seems to forget that you need to actually let him touch the ball.

The cope is similar on Packer's twitter. Every week people have been talking about how it's going to come together next week. Just wait until Christian Watson is back. Just wait until Aaron Jones is back. Just wait until they trade for the magic piece that will make them magically not suck. I think it's finally going to die down.

This was seen by everyone who wasn't downing Miller Lite and eating tons of cheesecurds from a mile away. Now the rest of the fanbase can see what some of us already saw. Off season drama is worth it to not have a 2-5 record with the only winnable games coming against the Chargers, Giants, and Panthers. And lord knows they aren't anywhere close to guaranteed wins, just some that we could be competitive in.

Just wait for the next elite, first ballot hall of fame quarter back to come through. That happens every 2-3 years right?

I just don't know what's happened to us. Our defense and offense have both gone into neutral. Three straight losses now. I don't even know what needs to be fixed for the 49er's.

Some of funniest takes to me are the "Oh Jordan Love just needs more time to develop and get a feel for being the starter !".

Bitch, he had the most spoon-fed introduction to being a NFL QB that you can imagine. He was in a stable organization and had years to learn behind one of the very best to ever do it...and he still sucks ass.

The Packers have quite a bit of rebuilding to do and it starts with their QB.

He was drafted 3 years ago. He has had 3 years to sit behind an MVP QB who was breaking down the offense to an insane degree. He shared a QB room with him that entire time and the organization made it clear that he was the next one up. The accuracy issues and not moving past his first read is not just concerning, its alarming. His accuracy is just awful as well. I have no idea what he spent 3 years doing, but he was put in the best chance to succeed and he is just struggling.

After 3 consecutive losses where inexplicable turnovers have happened, I must say that some of the luster has come off of Brock Purdy.

2 observations I will specifically make are:

1) Almost all of these turnovers have come from throws to the middle of the field. This is concerning because the 49ers offense is based off of ball and clock control (and playing from ahead). You simply have to make these throws consistently. He did make a few great throws but they're negated by the bone-headed interceptions.

2) The interception on the goal-line where he tried to float the ball up and over the Defensive End was...idiotic, for lack of a better term. If Purdy had the physical gifts to make these ad-hoc plays and throws, he would have been drafted a lot higher.

Purdy is trying to do too much and the 49ers are suffering as a result. They need efficient and safe QB play, not hero ball.

Y’know what’s mildly baffling in hindsight? How despite the Packer being Good for about 30 Years, just how few Superbowls they won in that stretch. While admittedly for a lot of said stretch, the Patriots were the NFL’s Evil Empire and couldn’t be stopped, if it wasn’t for Elite QB Talent the Packers would likely just be the Steelers and somehow regularly bullshit their way to 9 win seasons.

This coming Rebuild feels more and more like it was a long time coming.

Is it just me or is Patrick Mahomes not getting away with the stupid throws he normally gets away with?

Between Brett Farve and Aaron Rodgers the packers should’ve won at least two more superbowls.

It was either Grossi or Perna’s comment sections, I saw some comments mentioning an illness, could just be he’s not at 100%, but isn’t actually injured.

It’s that or Perna sacrificed a LOT of Goats to the Football Gods this week to curse Mahomes. I know which I lean towards, especially if he manages to bounce back to form next week.
