While admittedly for a lot of said stretch, the Patriots were the NFL’s Evil Empire and couldn’t be stopped, if it wasn’t for Elite QB Talent the Packers would likely just be the Steelers and somehow regularly bullshit their way to 9 win seasons.

What most retarded packers fans and the rest of the league is finding out, is that the Packers are a poorly run organization that has been masked by elite level QB play for nearly 30 years. I am developing a theory that Rodgers was able to get all his friends signed to nice contracts with the Packers simply off the fact that Rodgers kept them in a job and in the NFL. I am just surprised they actually traded Rodgers. A shitty QB is starting to expose most of the Packers organization as frauds

Crowning which team won on their rookie QB is always a fool's errand. If you polled people at the end of the 2021 season Mac Jones and Davis Mills were the two success stories. Two years out, one's fighting to keep his job right now and the other's already been replaced.
 
While it sucks to see Devonte Adams pissed off at the Raiders since I will always like him, a little piece of me is happy seeing him struggle considering how he wanted out with the Packers a year before Rodgers left. Going to see if he actually gets traded or if he causes problems for the Raiders for the rest of the year

At this point, I can see them trading him. He' s clearly not happy, and they are clearly not going anywhere. Him staying on this team isn't going to make or break them either way. And he's not going to want to hurt his Hall of Fame run with a year on a team this shit. If he isn't traded, he's probably cut. Be funny if he tried to follow his boy Derek Carr again and went to the Saints.

Hey, that's an idea/ Saints work out a three team deal where they trade Jameis Winston to the Vikings (they need a quarterback now, right?) and get Adams from the Raiders, with the teams swapping picks.

Fair point, but every QB not named Trevor Lawrence has been dog shit from that draft.

I generally don't trust Black QBs, especially not midgets like Bryce Young.

Stroud has looked like the best of the lot from this draft (thus far, unless Will Levis continues to make some noise).
 
Josh McDaniels has to go down as one of the worst Head Coaches in NFL history. Every move he made was a huge miss, one after another from drafting, trades, and free agency/big contracts given out. The past 2 drafts have been misses. Davonte Adams trade was a huge mistake, even when it happened. You don't give up a 1st and a 2nd for a 30 years old WR, then give him a huge contract. You run Derek Carr out of town then bring in a worse and more injury prone QB in Jimmy G, who needed surgery in the off-season. Mismanaged Josh Jacobs his entire tenure. And this is just his Raiders tenure. It's almost as bad as his time with the Broncos.

Most bad coaches just suck, and mismanage the players/talent on the team. Very rarely do we get the perfect coach who is such a cancer on the team, that it will take years to recover from. At least he will get another job in New England as long as Belicheck is still around.

I'm not so sure about that. McDaniels screwed BB by taking the entire offensive coaching staff with him to Vegas, which is why Matt Patricia was "Not OC for legal purposes" for a year while Belichick waited for Bill O'Brien to finish his contract with Alabama. They've finally re-established the coaches on that side of the ball and McDaniels might find himself riding the couch this time next fall.

You're probably right. It's just funny seeing former Patriots assistant fail when they leave and have to come crawling back to Belichek. Last time McDaniels was fired, he was the OC for the Rams under Spagnola and was awful there before returning to Bill.
 
Happy and sad about the Rasul Douglas trade. Its good to see him going to a team that is going to compete and I am happy we got a dude off the Cardinals practice squad that became a good player for us and we got a good compensation for him at draft deadline. But sad to see him go. Its obviously a rebuilding year and with how competitive packers tickets are to get along with an extremely loyal fanbase, I am surprised we didn't have more of a fire sale before the deadline

It's almost like Bill hires his assistants based on how fast they can say "Yes Coach Belichick" and not if they actually have talent, because Bill is probably better than them at whatever "Job Title" they officially have.

One would think that by now the rest of the NFL would know better not to hire his cast-offs, but the Raiders are ran by a second generation retard.
 
I find Will Levis intriguing.

On the one hand, I'm leery of players who throw a lot of picks in College (relatively speaking) and are not able to start at their initially chosen school.

On the other hand, Jesus, this kid has an absolute rifle for an arm. Specifically, his deep throws seem effortless. That, you cannot teach.

I was watching J.T. O'Sullivan's tape breakdown (I consider him one of the better commentators when it comes to judging QB play) and he was quite complimentary of Levis' performance.

Time will tell, but let's enjoy the ride.
