The Saints somehow had everything go right for them yesterday to enable them to move into first place in the NFC South: not only did they win their own game, despite playing around with a two win team, the Falcons somehow lost to a Vikings team that was playing the backup of the backup quarterback, who was a rookie and had never taken a single snap with the offense and didn't even know most of the players' names, all of whom had to learn his cadence on the sideline. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay continues to prove that they are also trash (or that CJ Stroud is just that good). While the Panthers continue to suck like they have all year long.

The Saints take on the Vikings themselves next week (hopefully, they don't underestimate their opponent like the Falcons), then get their bye week, then get a chance to come back and put the Falcons in the dirt. An important next three weeks coming up.

Packers fans are screaming “We’re back!”

You fuckers beat the Rams. That’s not exactly an accomplishment - they’re a slightly less incompetent Bears.

And the Packers aren't like the Dolphins where they were unstoppable during the 70s through 80s but were then cursed until the late 2000s

I would like to apologize in advance to the people of Frankfurt, Germany for the fuck-awful game between the Pats and Indy we are going to send there next week. Ten years ago, this would have been a great rivalry, but the days of Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are sadly gone.
Nah, we gotta toughen them up and show them what real fail football looks like before Goodell inevitably tries to re-do the NFL Europe experiment again.

Daniel Jones getting his ACL torn by his own teammate while being under pressure immediately is proof the football gods do have a sense of humor.

He was getting pressured (under 2 seconds) on more than half his drop backs and was on pace to break David Carr's single season sack record. Giants fans are delusional to think drafting a new QB will fix anything. But they all want the new QB who will get killed like Eli and now Daniel Jones. (:_(

Tommy Devito is gonna turn his opponents into coleslaw, just like Ma used to make.

The Patriots are winning in spite of themselves. Mac Jones and Tyquan Thornton look fucking terrible.

So far the Patriots is really lagging behind from 2 - 7. Significantly worse than the previous 22 seasons before. They haven't been this bad since 2000 during the first half.

Levis looked "eh kinda okay" tonight against a good defense. Until he underthrew into triple coverage at the goal line lol

He has everything to be a good QB in the NFL but we'll see what happens when defenses get more film of his tendencies and start attacking them
His biggest problem in college (aside from the INTs) is that he didn't really seem to know where pressure was coming from and would wander into sacks. Surprisingly, he seems to have fixed that.

He's doing much better than I thought he would.

After several painful losses to other bad teams, it's really just nice to win one.
Whoever greased up all the balls at the Jets-Rams game as a joke did a good job.

Whatever Bob Kraft does in January will be fascinating. I don't think he's at the point where he fires Belichick totally, but I also don't know if BB's ego can suffer losing GM duties, which is what should happen.

The Rams are signing Carson Wentz.

In even more surprising news, soon to be 32 year-old Martavis Bryant is close to being back in the league for the first time since 2018 as he'll be signing with the Cowboys.

He doesn't get fired mid season. January will be the interesting play for this entire coaching/gm situation for New England. I think this is the first time in forever that January becomes interesting for New England in ways other than the playoffs

Makes sense. He's (probably) better than whatever they put out against the Packers

Someone smarter then me pointed out that either way, Chicago comes out ahead tonight. If they win, Panthers move closer to having the 1st overall pick. Which is owned by Da Bears.

If they lose, they get closer to having their other 1st rounder be higher.

Someone tell Frank Reich youre supposed to tank to GET the 1st overall pick or franchise QB, not after.

EDIT My spelling is ass.
