Denver has won four in a row. What is this timeline?
Look, Perna sacrificed a LOT of goats for the GPS Bowl. This streak is the Football Gods trying to balance the books.

That or in a few months it’s going to come out that this entire run was fuelled by a LOT of drugs. Legitimately 50/50 odds.

Joe Flacco is close to signing with the Browns and being put on their practice squad.

Will probably be elevated after next week if DTR doesn't do well. I was pleasantly surprised by his performance, but the dropped passes fucking killed me. Njoku especially had an off day in that department, and he's always had the best hands in that receiver room.

Jets have finally benched Zach Wilson in favor of...Tim Boyle. Who, on average, throws one INT for every five passes.

Jets fans gonna be walking up to the top of MetLife and leaping to their deaths next game

Aaron Rodgers is going to inject peyote directly into his Achilles at this pace.

Is it my imagination, or does the Monday night game kind of suck? I expected more from two of the strongest offenses in the league.

Rain is always going to make the game focus on the ground and be kinda sloppy and shitty. Combine that with two top defenses and Kelce being the only KC receiver who wasn't dropping balls, until tonight when he had three, and you have what soccer fans call a cagey affair.

NFL banned Jackson for 4 games for last night's helmet hit on Dobbs which caused the fumble....and for which no flag was thrown.

We probably woulda lost anyways, our offence just wasn't connecting, but fuck the refs either way.
The guy has had a target on his back because he leads with his head. Right or wrong Jackson needs to change, cause the league want it gone and sure as shit isn't. The NFL has been stacking the deck against the defense to get higher scoring games the general public wants to watch in the name of player safety and that's just the way it is. Some of it was probably actually necessary, but it's gone too far now as evidenced by all the absurd roughing the passer calls. The fact that a player is penalized on a sack for not making the QB's health their primary concern is fucking absurd. Intent does not matter to on field officials or the league during disciplinary proceedings and it should. That and all the bs underthrown deep ball DPI get's me pissed even when it's AJ Brown doing it to perfection. It's a legit play at this point.

Just single out QBs and make them officially different than football players. Give them their own salary cap and put flags on them. Give them some kind of belt with pouch that hold the flags so they aren't as easy to rip out as the ones your kids use, but let's stop the charade. Goodell has to be pissed because even after stacking the deck, athletes are getting more impressive anddefenses are adapting. Right now we have something like 10 backups playing. I think the potential is 12 this week. I wonder what the stats say on injuries vs. the number of games or having games on a short week?

I know what the dollar sign says and that's all that matters. We're going to see an 18th game along with a second bye week at the next CBA. It would not shock me if Goodell works black magic and get's it sooner somehow. In exchange the NFLPA will get the hallucinogen Rodgers has found to make him immortal allowed by the league and his transformation into a football-throwing liche will be complete.

I can't wait for some OC to just say fuck it and make the entire offense revolve around drawing DPI calls.

Underthrow passes and have receivers flop like every bone in their body exploded if the DB touches them while the ball is in the air. This is how we drive down the field.

It’ll be nothing but pure Yinzer Mode noises. “Steelah’s Gantah SupaBawl!”

That or a Matt Canada Legacy of Failure. I’d take either.

I hate this call so much, it bails out shitty QBs and is just a bad play. You shouldn't be rewarded for throwing such a bad pass, but it helps the offense so the NFL is all for it.

So you're saying the Jets' QB situation has reached the Boyling Point?
