This was a disappointing Black Monday. You fuckers need to fire more people for my amusement
In fairness the Big Firings all happened Mid Season. The ones today were either “should’ve happened weeks ago” or in the case of Riverboat Ron “clearing out the last of the old owners shit”

Besides, the most interesting HC situation this off season might be the Patriots - do they keep Bill but hire someone else to be GM, or do they finally move on from who I believe is the last remnant of the Evil Empire?

The Titans fired Vrabel

COTY just two years ago, made Will Levis look serviceable, they're legit firing him because Amy Adams is too lazy to try to figure out trade compensation.
Clownshow organization and I look forward to them relegated to being the pimply nerd in their division as Houston has Stroud routinely beat them up for their lunch money

Vrabel is a born loser. Ever since that game last season where he had all his timeouts and like a minute left to try and win the game and just ran the ball because he wanted to end the game and prepare for next week (which he lost) I knew he was a marked man. He did that with the Texas game this year, like ten minutes left and down a couple TDs and he just had the QB throwing passes behind the line to run the clock out. Plus dude was always hunched over with his hands on his knees looking like he was being raped anytime he got behind. Good riddance to that meathead. If you can't beat the shit-ass Texans you don't belong in the league.

Apparently, Wink Martindale hasn't officially resigned yet. All the reports coming out sounds like he's a wannabe Buddy Ryan.

If you fire your head coach, and literally EVERYONE's first response is "Wonder where he's going to go next?" You probably fucked up firing that coach.

Now the Pats don't even have to trade for him, they can just hire him, lmao.
The Vrabel move makes the coaching carousel way more fun though. He's def the top pick right now for most teams. Then you have Harbaugh who probably wants out of Michigan before they get butt fucked by the NCAA for dethrowning the SEC some kind of violation. Should be a fun offseason for these shitshow teams

The Titans gave an insane reason for firing him instead of trading, too, saying that it would've taken to long to trade him.

That's like tossing out a gold bar because it would take too long to sell it, but hey, I'm sure that GM they just hired knows what he's doing....
*checks notes*
Oh, he's never been a GM, just a scout...
Well, hope that works out well for them, I don't think the rest of the AFC South is too worried, especially since his first move was to get rid of Vrabel, lmao.

Since I am not a fan of the titans, I am happy they just decided to cut him instead of looking to trade him. It makes the offseason so much more fun. Where does Vrabel go, since he is the top pick for every team out there. Do the Patriots fire Belichick in order to hire Vrabel. What if the Patriots fire Belichick and Vrabel doesn't go to the Patriots? Which coordinators get interviewed and hired? Are they actually a first choice or is it because Vrabel turned them down? And this doesn't even bring Harbaugh into the equation

Ok now its getting real

This offseason is gonna be lit

PETE CARROLL'S GONE
PETE CARROLL'S GONE

WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK!!>?!>?!

It seems like a step down from what I read. He is still in the organization in some capacity so he wasn't fired but he isn't a coach
Jody told all his coaches they're free to seek employment elsewhere, even if Pete got promoted to EVP of Football Operations or someshit this is a firing with dignity instead of some half-assed reorganization. The only way it could be more complete is if we hear John Schneider's also being relieved of duties.

I'm of a mixed mind. Pete has his foibles and they were really starting to hold back this team, but we're a weird team in a weird ownership situation and I dunno how that's going to impact our HC search despite having a pretty ideal roster for any prospective coach.

The Cowboys are gonna shit the bed against the Packers. Packers have owned them for the longest time and they have a good running game which the Cowboys suck against. They've gotten lucky at home against shit opponents or barely beating the Seahawks, Lions and facing a declining Eagles team.
