Stafford took 2 big hits and I think maybe someone stepped on him there. It's probably over for the Rams if he's out because the game has been all offence

Stafford finally brought a W to the Lions in the postseason (no hate on him, he's one of my favorite QBs)

Mike McCarthy is a shapeless blob that leaves no impression except FAT and I don't understand why any player would ever be motivated to play for him

I hate most of the rest of the NFC North, because Green Bay is Green Bay, and the Vikings are only tolerable because many people I know are realistic fans, but I'm glad for Detroit. A franchise so dogshit most of its existence two HOF players retired early. Good job, hopefully the 9ers take care of business, but if they don't, you'd better put the nail in the damned coffin for the Cheeseheads. Regardless, I'm gonna enjoy the first overall pick and the rest of the post-season.

Ref ball came back to bite the Cowboys in the ass while giving the Lions the best possible outcome. Had the refs not fucked over the Lions, the Packers might go in to Detroit and win while Dallas does better against the Rams. Instead the Cowboys get humiliated at home and become the first 2 seed to lose to a 7 seed in the playoffs while the Lions get to host a second playoff game after winning their first playoff game since 1991. This is just sticking your finger in the wounds of the Cowboys and twisting.

Fuck the cowboys lmaoooo

The funny thing is if the Packers keep winning, they might never fire Joe Barry.

Shit on the Packers as I do, it's nice seeing that Jordan Love developed and grew into the role. I wish it was on any other fucking team, because Fuck The Packers, but it's nice to see.

Now, what's the funniest potential Superbowl...

Steelers vs. Packers

GB scores 40+ points in every playoff game on the way

Steelers score 17 or less

Then the Steelers score 70 points and shut the Packers out

IMO, the funniest outcome would have been Flacco boomering it up, upsetting the Ravens, and the Browns winning a super bowl against any NFC team that gatekept the Lions out of the SB (just because Lions not making the super bowl again would be funny). Flacco could then retire back to his couch in peace.
However, we can't always get what we want *sigh*

Hearing the boos when Stafford took the field honestly made me cringe. Dude played his guts out for that city. In 12 seasons, Stafford finished with more than 4k yards passing in 8 of them. He also started every game from 2011-2020. Hell, he even set numerous Lions franchise records that will probably be around for the next few decades! Most career pass completions, most career pass attempts, most career passing yards, and highest career completion percentage just to name a few off the top of my head.

Those fucking mongoloids ought to have been thankful they had such a talent under center that continued to stay with their losing ass team. Yeah he got the big extension at the time (135 million in 2017, I believe?), but he could have gone into free agency and teams would have been DROOLING over the chance to have him. Now he's a Ram with a championship ring and you wanna boo him? Bullshit

A Bears fan giving my wife (mild-mannered) shit for wearing her Packers hat in sub-zero temps? Fuck that guy. We have our fandom and don't say a word about others'. But we were still playing today, and y'all weren't, ya cunt. Why don't you find a nice warm hole to go fuck yourself in, wouldya?

Buccanneers-Steelers. I don't expect either team to win today, though maybe Tampa Bay pulls off a win, I'm skeptical either is even playoff caliber. So, a matchup like this would be hilarious. The Baker Mayfield redemption arc so silly not even Hollywood would touch it.

Closely followed by Eagles-Steelers, for the whole dead deer on I-80/PA rivalry thing if nothing else. (Seriously, what is up with that? Its like all the deer in central PA realize they're in central PA at some point and decide to end it all. Literally a deer corpse every three miles the couple of times I've driven it.)

As an aside, where did these Texans come from? Never saw that one coming in a million years. Dallas shitting the bed surprised me a bit, but on reflection I guess it shouldn't have.

As another aside, the pirate sites I usually use were having issues last night. Either the stream wouldn't load at all or it was buffering every fifteen seconds. I finally found one without issues and it was some dude doing a voiceover to the game in either Polish or Russian. Which was amusing for about 15 seconds. He sounded like he was speaking into a phone microphone, too. Wonder if the era of doing this kind of thing is drawing to a close? Kept having to hop around, and ultimately did find one that worked for both games, but I've never seen this kind of thing in the past.
