Either Steve Wilks is assigning Warner to exclusively cover Jones or Warner's having an uncharacteristically hard time remembering to pass off coverage when his target runs outside instead of up the gut. There were 3 other SF defensive backs AND their assignments between him and Jones and Warner ran into pretty much every one of them on that 2 point conversion trying to get out from the middle.
 
Much as I want the Packers to lose, them managing to slay their demon in “the 49ers in the playoffs” literally the year after Rodgers left would be hilarious. The fact the Niner’s are terrible at playing comeback isn’t helping, but I for one welcome the Chaos - look my teams mean my season was over like, 6 weeks ago, give me something.

Remember - the year Rodgers was drafted, literally everyone expected him to go to San Fran. Is the “curse” actually broken?
 
Purdy made 3 consecutive passes, of which 2 were horribly over of underthrown. Even the catch that Aiyuk made gets dropped more than half of the time I would say.

Yeah, Purdy might be one of those guys who can string together a bunch of great games in the relatively meaningless regular season, with all of his weapons handy...but take out one of the weapons and bring the pressure of the playoffs and he folds.

Edit: Yet again, Purdy misses another relatively easy completion to CMac. This completion that he just made to Jennings or whoever that was, was just a prayer that was thrown up like a prayer.

Edit: Honestly, where the fuck is Purdy even throwing the ball ?

Edit: Aaaand of course the Defense now gives up a 53 yard run. I just can't see them coming back from this without a colossal fuck up from Green Bay.

Welp, with that gift, the Niners have to now march down the field and score a TD to finish this shit off.

Even if they can win, which I don't think that they can, I have 0 confidence that this team can win the Super Bowl.

Edit: LOL they're double spying CMac...

Edit: I don't understand the Niners playcalling at all...CMac is being totally covered by these motherfuckers so why throw to him ?

The TD is all good and well but in current year NFL, 1 minute is a lifetime to drive for a FG fellas...

Thinking this might go to OT. A late field goal to tie it for the Packers seems pretty doable.
 
Tie to overtime then Pack finally wins off a pick six they have been itching for.
 
The best visualization of this game is the post play shot of the sideline of the two fudge Packers shoving the Niner into the table. McCaffrey is the entire offense for SanFran.
