Their punter should be on IR after pulling a hammie chasing down a blocked kick Monday. He averaged a net of 30 yards on 2 kicks tonight. Mcdermott, in a move only a very high IQ individual would understand, dropped his backup from the practice squad Wednesday.
I missed the injury thing. The dropped backup is just karma.
I feel like you have to have someone on the team who could probably punt better than that in a pinch though like a kicker or RB.

Between The Bills and the Chiefs, I think the Ravens should be able to take either, so this game didn't mean a whole lot to me other than hopefully not getting a live Swift reaction after every big play. *sigh*

Given the Bills' record in overtime for the past handful of years, Tyler Bass can take solace in knowing that making that field goal would only serve to postpone the inevitable.

On the other hand, I can take solace in knowing that even if the had Bills won, I'd still be subjected to commercials with Travis Kelce reminding me to get the Pfizer booster for the rest of the postseason.

I'm still surprised about the blatant no call on the late hit on Allen. I know the NFL wants more money so they want the Chiefs to win, but I thought they'd be more secretive about it.

Glad the Lions won, would like to see them win it all, though I could live with either SF or Baltimore. No more KC, though. They're starting to get on my nerves. Without Deebo gotta think SF is vulnerable, though I guess they'll do everything they can to see he's back in the lineup for next week. Purdy is much, much worse a QB with him out of the game. Fingers crossed, the Lions pull off the upset. Will never not amuse me that the "San Francisco" 49ers play 40+ miles from San Francisco. The New England Patriots might as well go back to being the Boston Patriots, since Foxborough is only 30ish miles from Boston.

I fell asleep sometime in the second quarter of the Bill-Chiefs and missed the rest of the game. Stone cold sober, even. Guess I'm not really into the NFL this year. I guess as a Patriots fan this was pretty much Saruman vs. Sauron anyways.

That plus big mobile quarterbacks don't tend to get calls as often as pocket passers do.

Sad that the Bills lost. Guess I'll root for either of the NFC teams. SF the city and brand sucks, but they have some likable players.

Despite being a Packers fan, I am cheering for the Lions. When thinking about who I hope suffers the most from the NFC North, its the Bears and Vikings. But its no fun to watch the lions spend decades being terrible. So, playing the long game, I hope the Lions do good enough over the next few years to get their fanbase from a depressed group of people who discovered what hope is to becoming somewhat obnoxious enough to hate. Then I can go back to hating everyone in the NFC north. Since this is all about me after all

Don't worry buddy, as a Detroit fan I was rooting for the 49'ers all along, but I'm still glad you guys bounced those frauds called "The Cowboys" out of the playoffs. Again.

Man what were you thinking? You had TWO playoff home games and you could have had a third game against the packers of all teams. Imagine hosting an NFC championship game with a chance to go to the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history. Instead you fly into a shithole, drive through human feces, and play against a system QB who enjoys throwing checkdowns and screen passes in order to get there

No thanks, I don't want our first Championship since '91 to end with the nightmare of losing to the Packers at home and sending them to the Super Bowl, literally the worst case scenario.
Against the 49'ers I won't have to go outside and shoot stuff immediately after a loss, so we've got that going for us. Plus they may not have Deebo Samuel, so that's one less guy to checkdown to, at least.

You niggers have literally had 30 years of HoF QB's, you can at least sit this one out to rest Jordan Love for teabagging the NFC North next year.

At the very least we can all hold hands and laugh at the Vikings.

I'm in the same boat. The Lions have been the divisional punching bag for so long, they're basically the little brother I'm a bit proud of.
Since 2000 Lions are 15-33 against the Packers, 15-33 against the Vikings, and 21-27 against the Bears (lmao, @ The Bears) totalling 48-84 or almost a 1:2 W:L ratio. They put their work in this season and deserve a little time in the sun.

I am utterly convinced that the NFL is doing their hardest to make sure the Buffalo Bills do not go to the Super Bowl in this current timeline just to keep the Kansas City Chiefs happy.

Also, am I really going to live in a world where the Detroit Lions might actually win a Lombardi Trophy? Not that I’m complaining, but it would be wild to think about.

That or the Buffalo Bills badluck is due to cigarette man. :story:

And I wish to see the Detroit Lions winning the Lombardi Trophy too.

Of the remaining Teams, the Lions have the fans I least want to punch in the throat, so guess I’m cheering for them by default.

Really I’m just on team “anyone but the fucking Chiefs”, so I don’t really care, but the Lions deserve a Lombardi after the decades in the leagues basement.
