At the end of the day, Allen still has a ways to go as a signal caller. Buffalo wins a lot of games because he's able to run for key 1st downs but he's just not as good from the "art of Quarterbacking" perspective, for all of his physical gifts.


I guess I'll root for whoever comes through the NFC, but damn, I really hate being a Bills fan.

Glad you're being level headed here, rather than everyone else blaming all but Josh Allen. He's good, but he doesn't get the same level of heat as the others (Lawrence, Burrow, Herbert, etc).



In other news, the Raiders hired Tom Telesco. Why? He's not that good a GM, and they've seen him draft since 2013.

Like I said earlier, a loss to the 49ers won't drive me to the ledge like a NFC Championship loss to the Packers would.

Overall the Lions exceeded my expectations with a NFC North win and two home playoff wins, we're on house money now.
 
After years of speculation Harbaugh wins his 'chip and returns in glory to the NFL. Same year Bellicheck and Vrabel hit the market.

Sure am glad a certain team with the number one pick, with deep ties to one of them, decided to not even explore the market and instead gut the staff of their HC and commit to another lame duck 'Let's see what we have' season.

The Bears are going to have serious problems attracting a quality HC. Having the number one pick doesn't matter when that organization is weird as hell. Like seriously what on earth happened to your DC that resigned?

It's a chicken and egg. Quality HCs won't consider them because they're retarded, and they won't consider quality HCs because they're retarded. No clue how to break the deadlock. Same with Williams the DC. No one knows.

And so begins everyone saying "Chargers to da Supah Bowl" predictions, forgetting he's coming into a team that, while talented, has perennially underachieved. It takes time to develop a culture, so I think the floor is wildcard, ceiling for me is divisional round. Hopefully this gives time for a super bowl run a year or two down the line.
 
I have faith in Harbaugh. I still remember how he quickly turned the 49ers into an elite team after about a decade of being irrelevant. I won't call them super bowl contenders just yet but assuming he does the same type of job that he did 10 years ago, then I think that they'll be competing in a few years. I'm also hoping that this will ignite a rivalry similar to how Seahawks-49ers became must watch games but instead with the Chiefs and Chargers filling in that spot
 
The thing about Harbaugh is his 49ers teams would find spectacularly heartbreaking ways to lose games, and ultimately could not bring home a Lombardi. He's obviously a great coach, but his first stint in the NFL gave me Marty Schottenheimer vibes.

I'd say it somewhat has, being that, despite the Chiefs winning, every game (sans this season) has been decided by 1 score, and one game going into OT.

I understand your sentiments, but if Dan Campbell can bring the Lions to the NFC Championship in year 3, its not gonna take Harbaugh long to make the Chargers an actual team.
