Very very true post. Ravens had no discipline this game. A lot of near misses due to guys not being where they needed to be on the field, and stupid freebie penalties all game point to a lack of leadership.
 
Man, this result leaves me in quite the quandary.

So now the Roasties (Swifties ?) get to sing and dance all the way to the Super Bowl. This is obviously detest.

Then again, the shitstain QB loses to the half shitstain QB who can actually throw the ball. If Lamar had won, even with a loss in the Super Bowl, all teams would be scrambling to draft the next great glorified punt returner to play QB.

On the other hand, I am so fucking tired of the constant Kelce fellatio. Yes, he's a great pass catching TE, but he's not the greatest TE of all time. That would be Gronk, who was not just an equally great pass catcher but quite possibly the most devastating blocking TE the game has ever seen, all in 1 player. So fuck off with this particular line of rhetoric.

The NFL probably wants KC to win the big dance not just for their newfound Roastie fan base, but because they want to anoint the half shitstain as the new greatest QB of all time with 3 Super Bowls so soon in his career, etc. etc. The same thing that the NBA is doing with LeBron can be expected for Mahomes.

I have this feeling of dread that neither team from the NFC will be able to beat KC, especially because you know that refball will be out there in full force.
 
Fuck it, they've endured enough pain and they're the only NFC North team I feel bad about. Go Lions.

Not even halfway through the first quarter and Purdy already has 2 passes batted at the line. That has to be something of a worrying sign for Niners fans.

He also nearly threw a pick. What a time for this version of Purdy to become the norm and not the outlier.

They also just missed the FG. 3.5 quarters left to make up for it, but the early returns have to be at least somewhat worrying.

Edit: Detroit Bros, is it too early to start believing ? I guess so, but who the fuck cares? Smoke if you got 'em.

IMO this game is all on Purdy. I don't think CMC and co. will be able to run much but I'm kind of thinking Det 2ndary is not really all that good.

Hope Det wins, though.
 
Are the Niners trying to kill CMac ? It absolutely seems as though 80% of the Niners plays are either CMac runs or passes...

Edit: I just noticed that the Lions have "WEF" imprinted on their jerseys. For one moment, I thought that it was the World Economic Forum but then realized that it was very likely a reference to a member of the Ford family.

Edit: LOL. LMAO EVEN. Remember what I was saying about Purdy being inconsistent, unless it was a perfect situation ?

Edit: Of course the Lions shitstain CB just has to commit a foul and the Lions lose all of that interception return yardage. I hate shitstains so much.

Edit: So now with the Lions up by 2 scores, we can fully expect the refball to begin fellas.

Edit: One of the challenges that the 49ers have is that they're a victim of CMac's brilliance. Any time that he's on the field, all the Defense has to do is to keep a very close eye on him. Chances are, he's getting the ball one way or another. Now, you would think that this would open up opportunities for the other guys but Purdy is unable to find them in favorable matchups.

I understand, but any line that has Trent Williams has to be at least adequate (and I'm really stretching it here, because I don't think that you can have a record like the Niners without solid to great O-Line play).

The real issue is that Purdy has neither the size nor the ability to overcome whatever O-Line challenges that other QB's are able to. He's much better than many starters in the NFL but there's a sizeable gap between Purdy and some of the elites.

Secondary is their weak spot but team is playing pretty good so far.

Trying to overcompensate for 28-3 where he didn't run against Patriots.
 
This is frustrating, our defense is just useless now. I still believe in Purdy (hell, he already has a better playoffs record than Dak, Lamar, Lawrence, etc.) but he just hasn't looked the same since the Ravens Christmas game.
