I could never get into Tom Grossi. He just looks like that type of dude that would be cool with his wife getting the pipe laid to her by Jamaal while he's watching the Packers game in the next room.
Considering he divorced his wife pretty soon after he went to YouTube full time, you might be on to something. That and he'll sperg out if you deviate from the mainstream political script.

Everyone forgets the Bavaros and Shockeys.
Yeah I kinda forgot Shockey was with the Saints, and went to Super Bowl XLII and XLIV.

Gronk is far and away the greatest Tight End to ever do it. He's quite possibly the most devastating blocker at the position that we've ever seen. Add to that the fact that he also handily leads every Tight End in history with his Yards per Catch stats at 15 per reception.

———————————————-

Idiots always talk about Gronk being too injured all of the time, but when you're a true all round Tight End, you're going to get hurt a lot because you're involved in every single phase of the offensive game plan.
Offensive linemen are just as critical to every aspect of a game plan and don’t get subbed out as much because of different looks and packages. And those guys actually get hit on every single snap.

I’m still not quite sure how to measure Gronk because he was effective when healthy. He also had Tom Brady throwing the ball to him most of the time. And when Brady wasn’t on his team, Gronk went deuces and left his former teams high and dry. Would Gronk have been as effective with Jameis Winston or Derek Carr or Jay Cutler as his QB? Gronk knew Brady buttered his bacon.

I do wish, in lieu of the Pro Bowl, there's the consolation bowl of the Championship Game losers.
They tried that in the '60s. The AFL-NFL merger kinda killed the idea because the players were getting paid enough to not need that one extra paycheck for the Loser Bowl.

Another (eventually) failed concept was the Chicago College All-Star Game. The all-stars were elite college-level players playing against a given NFL team. They discontinued it after the Steelers were shutting out the college guys and it started raining near the end of the 3rd. The few fans in attendance left and never came back, and that was the end of that proud tradition. Doesn't help that the college kids hadn't won one in over a decade. Who wants to watch a foregone conclusion year after year?
No, actually he's not. He's one of the worst. He's also one of the men behind the Lions 0-16 season, so....
Knock knock
Who's there?
Owen
Owen who?
Owen Sixteen.

While I get the reason, it still sucks that the Loser Bowl ended.

As for the CCASG, glad they discontinued that, plus there's actual evidence to show those people who think the CFB National Champions have a fighting chance against the worst NFL team.

I remember Grossi getting hysterical when Hamlin went down and banning people from chat and lecturing everyone for talking about the game and not the brave black baby fighting for his oppressed life. Guy's a Midwestern cuck, aka your typical Packers fan.

Remember that incident where DaVante Adams shoved a cameraman to the ground on National TV during that Chiefs game ?

Well, not only was the misdemeanor assault charge dropped but the league has also closed its probe.

Ergo, Adams has faced absolutely zero repercussions for his actions.

I’m thankful for the Farms, where I can say what I really want to (or need to, in order to preserve what little sanity I have left).

Fuck niggers.

Are you there God? It's me, InterracialBowelSyndrome. If you could make the Chiefs lose tomorrow so some of their insufferable dick riders shut up that'd be great. K thx bye.

I think pretty much the same thing...as I watch episodes of his show with Brandon Perna start to finish. 🤷‍♂️

IIRC Grossi recently got divorced, wonder if the ex-moved on with Jamaal.

If he was catching the Holy Ghost over Saint Hamlin and excommunicating those who called bullshit, then I would say yes.

In fact, he probably had a provision in the divorce agreement that will allow him to watch Jamal go to town on his ex-wife.

If you look at it from the perspective of the battle of the coordinators, here’s what we have:

Shanahan vs. Spags seems to be quite an even matchup. Chiefs Defense has peaked at the right time and the Niners Offense doesn’t look as great as it did several weeks ago.

Reid vs. Wilks is a bloodbath. Reid will be shitting all over Wilks and whatever numbskull tier defensive gameplan that the former comes up with.

I wonder if the Chiefs will even need zebra support to win this shit.

Realistically, probably not unless Mahomes is taken out with an injury in the first drive of the game. That said, the League is probably going to pull out all the stops to make sure the surge of new viewership brought in to see Taylor Swift gets their happy ending.

Never have I been more happy to work the day of Superbowl - the only thing remotely interesting about this years game is the fact Usher is apparently still around and is doing the halftime show.

I generally don't have issues with this other than MVP. I truly think that Christian McCaffrey should have been the MVP this year, all things considered.
I agree with you. CMC stood out in a relatively weak year especially when you compare him to Lamar Jackson. But Lamar had alot of things going his way, he's a QB who played on arguably best team in the league and he's a media darling, you take those things into account and CMC never really had a shot.

Super Bowl Sunday is ‘Lamar Jackson Day’ in Maryland, governor declares

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson won’t be playing in the Super Bowl this Sunday, but it will still be a special day for him.
Maryland Gov. Wes Moore declared that Sunday, Feb. 11, will be Lamar Jackson Day in honor of one of the most electrifying players in the NFL.

Moore called the 27-year-old a “generational talent” and recognized him for “accomplishments, both on and off the field.”

As a Ravens fan I am embarrassed.

He is no Vinny Testaverde. That's all I'm going to say

Its like renaming International Day of Peace to Ray Lewis day, or Domestic Abuse Awareness month to Zay Flowers month.

I like Lamar, but holy fuck lets win a superbowl before we parade him around as GOAT.
