I remember when the celebrity commercials and pop culture references used to be fun and actually generate good will. Now it just kills any good mood I was in and makes me hate whoever is on screen (or hate them more).

Not sure if this is being older, the state of culture in this country, or a complete lack of relatability from the writers. Perhaps it's all of it together.

All I know is every time I watch football (my girlfriend likes to watch) I'm reminded why I stopped and why I hate it. It's representative of everything I hate in modern America.

Nigger worship, neutered pop music and hip-hop, the progressive messaging emblazoned EVERYWHERE you see, the sterility of the announcers. It's all so tiresome.

I still feel like the Chiefs are going to win this game and that the narrative and all of the talking heads are going to slobber over Mahomes' knob saying things like "Well! It wasn't pretty, but even still he was able to lift them up and secure the victory. That's what greatness is all about, getting it done when you're not on your game..."
 
The NFL doesn't like booking rock bands, and the gig doesn't pay. You're essentially donating a shitty, lip-synched medley, and nothing more.

I'm only watching it to visit with my parents. Otherwise, it's worse than cock-and-ball torture.

This right here is gonna be Barry McCockiner's video if the Chiefs pull off the win.
 
To paraphrase the sage words of Carl Brutananadilewski from ten years ago:

Well it took ten years Carl but Andy is choking harder than ever. Maybe he can help with the legs if he has another little piss baby moment.
 
Chiefs use a timeout only to not get the first down. I'm loving this but knowing who SF's coach is, I'm not going to celebrate until the game is over
 
I love how every time they start sucking off mahomes he immediately turns it over or fails to get the 1st down.
