Californians do the same shit when they move to Colorado and Texas, especially in urban areas. They move somewhere to buy cheap land, then try to impose their culture on the locals. Many CA transplants also incredibly shocked to learn that hispanic families aren't so accepting of gays and laugh when you make fun of Latino culture (if what you say is actually true).
